  1. I've been meaning to make this post for a while now. At one point I was gonna wait until the remix tournament had concluded for this, but uh, that doesn't seem so wise at the moment. So, what is this post exactly? Well, I've been on this forum for (almost) 4 years now. And a lot has changed in those 4 years, both in this virtual space and the real world. So, I wanted to take a moment to step back and reflect the changes within me, and how I fit into the context of this place. Things are changing about the way I use this forum - actually no, it's been evident for a while now, things have already changed about the way I use this forum. Back when I first arrived here, there was not much activity. But, I was excited to be able to share my time with other Touhou fans, and there were signs of life here, including from some moderators who had been with the site for a long time, so I made a lot of effort to show my face and drive up activity. Whenever a new post was made in the introductions section, I always made a point of welcoming members to give them the sign that there was indeed activity here. And with help from others who chose to stick around, a small but energetic ecosystem did begin to grow. Sometimes things got a bit lax, I didn't always have something to make a new thread on, but what I did have was a lot of time to be on the forum and interact with various topics of interest (not least of all the Musical Discoveries thread that cropped up after a year or two). Not everyone from those times has stuck around. Some only appear infrequently now, others have disappeared completely. However in more recent times, there has been an influx of new users. For me personally, the circumstances of my life have changed, what with me now studying Japan and Japanese at university. These are changes for the better! In fact, this is the best step in my life yet. However, it also means I no longer have the surplus of time for this forum that I used to. I'm content with that though; back then, I felt I needed to be active in order to keep the forum alive. But now, I see the forum in an exceptionally healthy state compared to what was here when I started. So, my input is no longer required. This isn't an "I'm going" post. My input is no longer required. Doesn't mean I'm about to quit inputting. However, I am reaching a stage in my life where I'm starting to distance myself from this forum. You may not see me as regularly as in the past. Don't get me wrong, I still love Touhou, but I'm also not quite as hyperfixated as I used to be, what with no longer being on the rush of experiencing all the games as new and fresh, back to back. Whenever a new game comes out though, I think you can expect to see me back here with something new to say. I'm also going to have the opportunity to spend a year in Japan at some point during my course, and when I do I absolutely intend to indulge myself in the Touhou experience, so if there's anything interesting I learn (or anything people want me to go and find out), I'll surely share it when the time comes! So in the meantime, just know that I'm still looking out for what goes on here, even if I don't post much. It's likely that from time to time, I'll still have something interesting to show or tell ya, and I'll still see discussions I want to take part in. But I've got places I want to go in life, and distancing myself from this website is something I'm ready to do, and thanks to the upsurge in users, something I feel comfortable doing.

  2. Honestly, this is the ideal approach to an online forum. If you feel obligated to be involved, you can't enjoy it comfortably, nor can you be fully authentic. Better to have the self-assurance that your input is appreciated, but not required (and it is appreciated, btw). I hope this place continues to be an enjoyable and entertaining part of your life, whatever its changes. Shalom!

They have different preferences, budget, and favorite dishes. Serve customers and remember their preferences, fill your cooking with music and love, and cook the perfect dish for each customer! Can you become best friends with your favorite characters? 2.2 While operating, Mystia will gain many companions, who can help with running the restaurant. Release Information Type: Adventure / RPG Developer: Aichiya Sanae Publisher: Aichiya Sanae Release: Varied/Under Development Language: English Default Controls [Arrow Keys]: D-Pad / Movement and Selection Z: A / Confirm X: B / Cancel A: Left Shoulder / Shift Selection L: Right Shoulder / Shift Selection Backspace: Select / Item Hotkey Enter: Start / Menu Spacebar: Speed Up F12: Take Screenshot Extras Supplements from Touhou Wiki * Touhoudex * Locations * Type Chart Description Plot Point: Patchouli gets tired of Marisa stealing her books, so she creates an army of sentient puppets based on the residents of Gensokyo to guard her library. Marisa steals the information needed to create her own army of the puppets, and in a fit, Patchouli destroys both armies and the knowledge of how to create them. The puppets recreate and fill Gensokyo, becoming akin to pets. How It Works: Since these are a set of Pokemon clones, the gameplay should feel familiar. The player starts off with a puppet and gathers more along the way, fighting their way through a series of dungeons and gyms before reaching the Elite Four and becoming the Champion. The same types have been kept, since these are the 1.5x versions of Touhoumon. World Link corresponds to Emerald, Another World and Puppet Play to Fire Red, and Marisa's Magic World to Ruby.

  6. No LoZ game has quite reached the level of acclaim and esteem of The Ocarina of Time. Still considered among the greatest video games ever made, it has continued to be a foundational influence for the medium as a whole. It's soundtrack is similarly iconic, featuring a wide variety of styles that work surprisingly well with the N64 sound; while the more notable motifs receive frequent reuse, I'd argue there's little significant improvement to be had in the overall presentation. While many of the game's pieces are well known, the soundtrack is surprisingly large (for an older game), and there are still a few rare gems in its tracklist; it's well worth the perusal if one is willing to take the time.

  7. Hello! If there is one thing I would like to ask, that would be the following: if you had the time, means and determination, what would you like to contribute to the community and world of Touhou fan-works? Alternatively: is there any topic you find more interesting when it comes to Touhou, be it related to the official works or the community? We are here to help, and have a nice chat no matter what it would be.

  8. Hi there! I've got two questions for you if that's alright. How did you discover the touhou series? Also, when did Utsuho become your favourite character?

  9. Pretty simple answer They don't look outside their shells Thanks to piracy, people like me that don't wanna buy the game or don't have the condition (here in Brazil, it has pretty abusive prices) get the chance to play touhou, without counting that in some countries like here, Touhou doesn't even appear in the steam shop, only some fangames like Luna Nights As a new touhou fan, i have to say, thanks to this site i had the chance to play amazing games, not only the Windows but also the PC-98 ones, and i doubt those reddit idiots would pay a lot of money for a old PC-98 and spend other lots of money into PC-98 disks Like potatolover said, if the world is so perfect and everyone can just buy the original thing, why don't they buy the music albums instead of listen to them on youtube? People nowadays just join a certain group and think they have the right to judge other ones, Moryia Shrine isn't just a piracy site, the forum is amazing, they only don't see it because they don't want to The people that complain about Moryia are the same guys that complain about pirating Nintendo games, they're the pure juice of "nooooo don't pirate my millionaire company" (i know Touhou is a indie game, but come on, some dudes pirating some of the games won't break the market, Zun is still making thousands of money with the Steam content) Several people here played the pirate versions first and then bought the games, we're not ruining the market, we're just opening it to more people, is basically a favor to Zun since a lot of people started getting into Touhou thanks to it and even bought original content, for them, everyone should have the same condition to get all the games and that's it, like if everyone had a lot of money to spend on things like games Btw, Moryia Shrine isn't only about Touhou and pirating Touhou games, there's a whole community behind it, with amazing people that made me enjoy Touhou way more The community here is way healthier than the ones of people that complain about us, but for them we're the villains of the history because we did pirate some games, like, i never saw fights or bunches of l0li henta1 here the same way i saw in the other fandoms, they're absolutely worse, the only difference is that they got some cash in their wallets
