Yes, we always love TD games, but because of the restriction on the platform or technology, many TD games always have same shortcomings ——complex interaction, bad graphics, belonging to another game, etc. It is hard to find a good simple beautiful TD game. For that reason, we decided to make one ourselves —— That is why “Touhou Monster TD” was made.

A Tower Defense game with a Controllable character
The classic tower defense game as a strategy game, in my opinion, is lacking immersion. It is boring that you can only click the button but cannot walk around the map and feel the world. In Touhou Monster TD, you can not only control the character to go anywhere in the TD world, but also jump everywhere, build everywhere, and carry around the combat unit. You can even use skill at important points to finish extra missions for rewards.

Unique Graphic Art Style
Once exploring the artistic style, we found adding simple light effect with 2D object and 3D terrain is interesting. Described as a runaway shooter, Kirisame Escape plays like a Touhou shooter in most respects. The player's bullet power increases on a linear scale as the player collects power-ups dropped by enemies. When playing with the character pairs, one character fires when unfocused, while the other switches in and fires when focused, with a reduction in movement speed.

Touhou Fuuma Roku, literally translated as The Story of Eastern Wind, or "SoEW" for short, is an update remake of the official Touhou game "Story of Eastern Wonderland." While not one of the official games, SoEW includes the BGM's of the original game. There are four playable character: Sanae Kochiya, Hakurei Reimu, Suika Ibuki and Yuyuko Saigyouji, each with a different storyline. There is also a hidden character, obtained after clearing at least one of the initial characters' story mode. SoEW has five stages in regular story mode, and if this mode has been completed without continue, player can unlock 3 extra modes: Yukkuri extra stages, additional extra stages and a stage modeled off of SoEW's extra stage. SoEW is the first and only Touhou project by Helios Create (now defunct) which was released on 2008.

Touhou Gekiren Ki is the fifth game developed by MOON GODDESS and unlike its predecessor, it is the first horizontally scrolling shooter. Touhou Hou Enbu is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by ドリル乳繰り and inspired by Uwabami Breakers. The game features three stages with two playable characters, each having distinct attack types and partners. Reimu covers a wide area of the screen and is supported by Yakumo Ran, while Marisa relies on her speed and is supported by Alice. Touhou Hou Enbu is supported by original music from Imperishable Nights, Uwabami Breakers and several doujin albums.

Touhou Makukasai (original Chinese title: Dōngfāng Mùhuàjì | English: Eastern Curtain Fire Festival) is a Chinese Touhou shooting game developed by StarX, based upon Touhou Koumakyou, but with additional characters and bosses. Touhou Makukasai features four playable characters to choose from; Reimu, Marisa, Sanae and Patchouli, each having distinct attack types. Some important gameplay features are very similar to Touhou Kishinjou and Touhou Seirensen where lives and bombs are gained piece by piece. The player requires 5 life pieces to gain an extra life and 5 bomb pieces for an additional bomb. These fragments can be obtained by defeating a lot of enemies at a time. The meter at the bottom left increases as the player destroys enemies and decreases when they don't destroy anything. When the meter is full, a piece of bomb or life will be given and all items will be collected automatically. Also, destroy big fairies or clearing a spellcard without missing will drop a piece as well.

STORY
A peaceful spring in the land of Gensokyo descends into chaos. The balance of power has been suddenly reversed! The strong are now weak, and the weak are now strong. It's another incident, and incidents like this are usually resolved in a snap. This time, Gensokyo's usual heroines find themselves weaker than a common fairy. Since the likes of Reimu and Marisa are in no condition to solve an incident, three atypical protagonists step in to save Gensokyo.

GAMEPLAY
Each character has their own unique firing pattern. Pick the one you enjoy the most and dodge your way through the six-stage main game. After you've successfully cleared the main scenario, use your honed skills to challenge the unlockable Extra stage. The main game has four difficulties to choose from, and the Extra stage has two, so you can tip Gensokyo's scales back into balance regardless of your skill level.

DISCORD
Sometimes the best way to fix something is to shatter it completely. That's why you can harness the power of the incident (and the Balance Gauge) to activate Discord Mode. Using this new mode will temporarily increase both risk and reward. Patterns will become more intense, but if you manage to survive the barrage you will be rewarded with additional lives (and a much higher score).

Players who want a higher challenge can enjoy Dissonant Mode, where Discord is permanently enabled. While playing in Dissonant Mode, the Balance gauge is used to power Flash Bombs instead. A Flash Bomb will clear bullets in a radius around you. If a regular enemy is caught in the radius of one, that enemy will be marked. Marked enemies will drop additional items, including extra life and bomb pieces if the enemy is sufficiently powerful.

You’ll be controlling one of various characters to fight from minions to bosses in known places of Gensokyo. Everything is randomly generated, so each run always offers you different experience.

Puzzle rooms occasionally appears in the dungeon, featuring a puzzle. Great awards await you once you resolve it.

Korindo’s branch store sometimes appears in the dungeon, acting as a supply station selling you goods, with a certain odd of presenting items of better quality. Beside that, it functions exactly the same as the store in the Human Village.

Description
