Description

In summer, after a great storm in Gensokyo, a meteor shower phenomenon occurred for several nights. Since the meteor fragments contain mysterious magical power, rumors have been spreading throughout Gensokyo that the fragments will make dreams come true. Figuring there must be something up there regardless of the rumor itself, Reimu went out to investigate the source of the magic released by the meteor fragments. Touhou Natsu Yasai, literally translated as Eastern Summer Night Festival, is a Chinese Touhou shooting game developed by 雨夜枫雪制作组 and features 4 playable characters; Reimu, Marisa, Sanae and Koishi. The gameplay system is based around filling a gauge by gathering meteor fragments and the gauge can be changed to three colors; blue, red and green, each with different effects. The game features 8 original characters, 6 stages and extra stage.

I used to play this game when I was a bit younger. It took me a few tries to pull off a 1cc, but it was on Easy (then again I was less experienced back then). I do plan on replaying it on Normal some time, with all 4 characters, so I can prove I am (more than) capable of Normal too, like everyone else that plays Touhou games (some of my skill was thanks to playing DoDonPachi, the hardest shmup i've played).

I can't play it. If I try to open it normally, it just gets to the loading screen and then dissapears. If I use a chinese Locale Emulator, an error sayin' sssssstar.png is missing or something like that (the error is in chinese) when the png is in the folder where it should be. If I try to patch it with the polished and refurbished patches, same error. Heck, there were even times when the exe just wouldn't boot up. Please I need help since this looks pretty good.
