Description
The objective of this game is to gain progressively higher scores by matching three or more UFOs of the same color in a line vertical or horizontal. Bonus points are given when player continue clearing UFOs to score higher points as quick as they can while UFOs are being called. Each color UFO has unique effects; red UFOs grants player life points, blue UFOs grants score multiplier, green UFOs will increase bomb power. When player clearing three different colored UFOs, call percentage will increase. Glass UFOs can only be removed by clearing colored UFOs adjacent to them, but if too many of these using bomb is recommended. The life points starts at 60.00 and decreases as time. The game is over when life points reaches zero.

Kinu Shoku Ryuu Hana is another Touhou shooting game which is, unfortunately, not very popular due to lack of publicity. With standard gameplay, the gameplay mechanics rely on 2 features: spell card system and spark counter, with the spell card system the player may choose 2 of 7 different spell cards before embarking on a mission. The spark counter consumes magic gauge and is basically very similar to a bomb that will fire lasers to eliminate enemies and bullets. The game's story is around Marisa who is investigating magic fluctuations.

LaserReimu is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by voidProc, where the player controls Reimu Hakurei in her journey to restore Marisa's magic tool. Player must battle waves of enemies through various environments and the game features a power-up system in which weapon selection based upon orb formations. Reimu has two primary weapons; a three-way o-fuda shot that spreads all over the screen, and secondary laser, where both can be executed at once or separately in two different formations; focused or unfocused. In LaserReimu bomb is the stronger version of focused shot for a period of time as long as the button is pressed and will cancels regular enemy bullets. To extend the title's longevity, the game also provides 55 achievements which can be unlocked when the player fulfills certain conditions.

Master Burner is a Touhou arcade shooting game and a tribute to After Burner, a 1987 combat flight simulator game by Sega AM2. Toho Invaders is a two dimensional fixed vertical shooting game and based upon Space Invaders, an arcade video game developed by Tomohiro Nishikado and released in 1978 by Taito. Toho Invaders has no specific storyline, it's a pure shooting game where high scores are the main objective. The player controls Reimu Hakurei or Marisa Kirisame moving them horizontally across the bottom of the screen and firing at descending fairies. If they reach the bottom, the fairies' attack is successful and the game ends. A special bigger enemy will occasionally move across the top of the screen and award bonus points if destroyed. Each stage has a boss and the game will continue to the next stage if the player manages to destroy her.

Sky Star Spark is a freeware shooting game developed by @N-Factory, featuring Marisa Kirisame as she overcomes unlimited enemy spawning to reach the bottom floor. The object of the game is to advance through the 50 floors by acquiring keys to the stairway that leads to the next floor and avoiding bullets before the health bar runs out. The game uses various Touhou characters as enemies and they have a certain level which determines their strength and special abilities. Player can shoot them but they will continue to respawn, which forces player to keep moving. Each floor has a random setup but players can see the keys and stairway position through the map in the lower right corner. Sky Star Spark has special floors that contain particular enemies with a very high level, and also Extra Mode unlocked upon game completion.

DoDonPachi Daiueiku, or sometimes known as Touhoupachi Daifukkatsu, is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by a Chinese indie developer named Guan. The player takes on the role of Reimu Hakurei facing fairy soldiers and a race of mechanized aliens as the bosses. DoDonPachi Daiueiku features a scoring mechanic similar to original DonPachi. When the player destroys large groups or chains of enemies in a short period of time, the player can build up a combo. The player receives an increasing number of points with every destroyed enemy. The player can choose one of three weapon styles which mimics DoDonPachi DaiFukkatsu's; Shot, Laser and Hyper. Reimu has a main forward-firing gun used by tapping the shot buttons. If the fire button is held down, the floating guns combine to produce a powerful vertical beam, but also makes the character move more slowly. Reimu also has a limited number of bombs and a temporary aura which produce another version of the primary weapon.
