Ken Hisuag
A classical orchestral offering, because I was here and felt like it. I wonder who can guess where I first heard this piece? Jaz:3
One of my favorite version of this song. While it sounds completely different from the original. They managed to take parts of the original song and make it into something so cool, but still keeping the same vibe.

Ken Hisuag
Every year since 2021 I've posted Irish folk for St. Patrick's Day, and though I may be running low on fresh material, I believe I can make it at least another year. Spoiler High Kings - The Little Beggarman Classic vocal play from the High Kings. Irish Rovers - The Black Velvet Band The way my grandfather sang this, it was much more energetic. Even though the proper pacing fits the theme better, I miss the memories of my first experience. Dubliners - Rocky Road to Dublin A fairly well known tune, but no less fun to learn for all that. 2 Quote TTT
Jaz:3
Spoiler we're getting out of loneliness with this one !!! Question 1 for the above: What do you when you miss someone and want to talk to them but you can't see them anymore? Spoiler this song is really nice, how I feel about it. Question 2 for the above: Can you remember the moments from your life? Where you go "wow, this is nice... and beautiful!"? Spoiler I need to discover more music from this woman, I think my dad would like the genre since he likes jazz and all, I might share this with him. Final Question for the above: What do you do to accept things the way the are right now? And how do you keep going? Just keep running... ShionYorigamiEnjoyer
Spoiler Don't think I've seen Cheshyre mentioned on here. Probably one of my first introductions into electronic/techno music. Love all his works and how they fit into MC perfectly but Whistler will always be my favorite.
ShionYorigamiEnjoyer
Spoiler Also some sax quartet stuff that I might post every once in a while. I'm not a big fan of Piazzolla's original instrumentation for this piece in particular (flute and guitar) but the sax transcription is good. Forgor to link the other 3mvts but they're also good to listen to Edited March 24 by ShionYorigamiEnjoyer add something else
Jaz:3
Let's start with something fun! Here: I know the meme is a bit old, but the way the 8 bit version was done sounds very satisfying and even happy when I first listened to it. Hands down!!!!! One of the best chiptune songs I've ever heard, first exposed to it thanks to Sr.Pelo, lol. The song is probably a classic for many others tho....(I think) Spoiler Found this from youtube's recommended if I remember correctly. The 8-bit version stays pretty faithful to the original one...which I highly recommend listening to if you're familiar with Ujico*/Snail's House (hit you like a truck at the beginning, it's crazzzzzyyyy) Spoiler Spoiler Edited March 24 by Jaz:3 = O( tried to make a face in the edit here, wait I just edit this edit...lol)
Ken Hisuag
For my usual commemoration of Resurrection Day, I've selected the work of John G. Elliot. His style shows a remembrance of the classical style, often utilizing large orchestral arrangements in his songs. His lyrics are adapted directly from Scripture, setting him apart from the majority of CCM artists and further establishing a feel of older times. His album Here I Stand was a staple of my childhood, and has continued to be an encouragement to me till now. Spoiler The Lord is Good - Two pieces in one, each deserving fair attention. I am Crucified with Christ - Not one I grew up with, but appropriate to the occasion. Here I Stand - One of the most important songs in my life. 1 Quote TTT

ShionYorigamiEnjoyer
A old band that was introduced to me by my brother a bit after they disbanded. I like all their discography but Epilogue is where I go to when I remember it. Also like the hidden track they did at the end of the vinyl. Spoiler Another sax quartet. Nothing much I can say about this except Maslanka outdid himself with this. Spoiler

Ken Hisuag
Went to my first ever concert recently; it was exceptionally loud, even for what I was expecting, but it was also decently fun, and I really enjoyed the music. Rend Collective is a lot more active on stage then on video apparently (or maybe that's the benefit of having control over perspective), and their antics appealed to my appreciation of Irish culture. The standout performance was Let it Roll, and while the video I found later doesn't quite to it justice, it's close enough. Jaz:3
I think this is the 3rd time I've mentioned the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, but anyways, the anime let me discovered one of my favorite songs (I'll mentioned this later when I get to it). The anime also takes some soundtracks from the game, but I haven't played it yet...I've heard some soundtracks and it sounds....cyber...-ye u know what I mean. But I think there's ALOT of soundtracks in the game too. Crazy how they take some songs from the game and make it fit really well with anime in some scenes. I feel like this should belong to the other vgm music category but....nah it's ok. Franz Ferdinand - This Fffire Spoiler Rat Boy - Who's Ready for Tomorrow Spoiler Rosa Walton (Let's Eat Grandma) - I Really Want to Stay at Your House Spoiler Wydech / Ugory - Zurawie (this is one of my favorite) Spoiler After reading through some comments on youtube and having my own thoughts on the song. I agree that this is a very cool song! (I think this is Metal but someone pointed out this genre is country metal? that's...an odd genre) But actually tho, the theme of the song goes really well with the anime (specifically close to the end of episode 6), like how the beginning sounds like someone is running or someone is driving, literally on the run. As the song progress through the chaos, it slows down, which sounds like a march to a funeral (I like how they used the hurdy gurdy to shows this feeling). Then at the climax, everything goes off until it's over. How I interpret this song is like this: you are on the run, always running, always keep going, moving forward, you always try your best, you do everything that you can. But it's not enough...maybe that's how things will end. You reach a point and at the end, you couldn't do the thing that you wanted to do.... "Zurawie" means crane- the bird. But I thought crane means like the machine, which is how it made me to interpret the song that way- no matter how fast or how far you ran, the crane will eventually grab you, sealing your fate. Sad as hell. But how I feel about the song is that no matter what "Just keep running". So yeah, it's such a melancholic, emotional song (if you can feel it that way too) This is a Polish band, here's their bandcamp: https://ugory.bandcamp.com/
Jaz:3
In order: "If" by Bread "I Say A Little Prayer" by Aretha Franklin "More Than Words" by Extreme Spoiler This was a sample for intro in a mix album for MF DOOM and Sade. I found it after digging through some comments there because the intro sounds so nice. Here's the album: https://youtu.be/RZSY9lO0S-I Found this song through Youtube's recommendations somehow...but it's pretty cool anyways. I got to know this song because my mom played this song alot when I was younger (I think it was on a disc). I just so happened to remember it after mom played it again on the tv this year. Spoiler "What does it really mean to say I love you ? Does it simply means you appreciate them? Or is it just mere words showing gratitude? Instead of making me hear it, show me... and let me feel it." -Yours truly This is what I want to say to my mom during her upcoming birthday, and after that I'd be playing the song "More Than Words" on the guitar! I've been practicing, hopefully I can play it nicely...
