  1. What a list, my friend! While I don't listen to much classical music and admittedly I believe I can't really appreciate classical music just yet, but I think sometime later in life I'll be on my way. I do listen to game soundtracks casually, I was actually already aware of the soundtrack to A Hat in Time and I have a few tracks from there in my playlist. I'll give your favorite artists a listen when I get the time and hey, a little cheating isn't so bad every once in a while lol! I wasn't aware of the other music threads on the forum which is why I made this, thanks for letting me know and I'll definitely check it out. New music is rewarding all the same! Thanks for your input my man!
  2. Shoegaze is a subgenre of rock that uses a lot of pedals, so you're on the money! I personally don't listen to much electronic music, but I do love it every once in a while as a sort of 'treat' you could say- I unironically think that it's great for focusing. The two tracks you've sent sound great! I've got a pair of headphones where you can max out the bass and the first song just blew my ears out lol. And I totally agree on the individual tracks part! I listen to music by the album most of the time, but some albums I just don't like one or two particular tracks, sometimes even most of the album might not be up to my tastes but one song is. Back when I was super into touhou (maybe around 4-5 years ago), I couldn't get into any of TAMAONSEN's music, but I just loved Dear Rainy Day in particular. Thanks for your input dude!
  3. In general, I've been interested in music for as long as I've been able to conceive humans thoughts, however, this had me wondering. What sort of music do other people like? I'm big on genres like Shoegaze (Bands like My Dead Girlfriend, Honeydip, Masudore, Kinoko Teikoku), and alternative rock bands (Ling Tosite Sigure, The Pillows, etc). I'm always hungry for a new genre of music, or a redo of the same genres we all know and love. Won't you tell me your favorite albums? If you haven't got any, at least one of your favorite songs. If there's any special meaning to you liking the specific album so much, I'd love an explanation. Looking forward to it! Here's one of mine:
  4. Personally, I work at a cafe and bake for a living so I'm more inclined to say something like Gyokuto-- those little rabbits on the moon that pound mochi. (For your viewing convenience https://yokai.com/gyokuto/ ) I've made plenty of mochi for work before too, so not exactly unrealistic...just slap a pair of rabbit ears and a tail onto current me and you've already got a gyokuto...except I'm not on the moon, but I think we have the resources and CGI to make that work.
  5. I've always been fond of Nitori's little hat. It's cute and really simple, nothing too flashy, I like that.
