Because her motivation for causing an incident is basically "It's too peaceful and I'm bored"

Can I be the idiot that says water? Because I'm going to say water. What? You want to be unhealthy? Here's a company that makes water look cool: https://liquiddeath.com/ -
Has IOSYS assasianted Eiki? and other fanon memes

Making characters look ridiculous doubles the joy of any franchise. What is the fun of having a bunch of "Mr. Perfects" walking around? We want goofy, we want ridiculous. It just makes me love the characters more, turns them more human in a certain way. One of the reasons why I think Monty Python is so popular. -
I don't see the point of making a touhou OC when you have so many options to choose from in the main cast already. Unless it's part of a larger fangame. Take the OCs in "Elegant Impermanence of Sakura", for example. Not only do they have beautiful and unique designs, personalities that stand out, but catchy and distinct tunes to accompany that. Take a look at one of my favorites, I wish she were part of the real cast so the design would get more attention: Love the round faces in the art style too. They're cute. :p The theme gets really good at around the 1:48 mark.

What is your favourite game outside of the touhou series
Canaranjo replied to ScarletCyro's topic in Misty Lake
Frankly, anything you could say as a similarity is kind of a stretch. I met both games in separate occasions and fell in love with them for separate reasons. The one thing that could possibly link the two for me is my love for cute designs and a large cast of characters with different flavors to them, that I can pick favorites over. The combination of both franchises is godly though. I recommend a playthrough for any fan of either franchise: My beloved Patchy: -
What is your favourite game outside of the touhou series
Canaranjo replied to ScarletCyro's topic in Misty Lake
I love short but sweet experiences involving games with a lot of mystery in them, and a dash of VN. Bonus points if they're a bit creepy or melancholic, and also if they end up with a strong delivery on a good story. Good examples of this are: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1444350/House/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1282210/DEEMO_Reborn/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/885810/The_Witchs_House_MV/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/637850/Confess_My_Love/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1574270/Sucker_for_Love_First_Date/ However, pinpointing one of these as my favorite would be difficult, and I don't think it would do the genre justice. So I'll just have to go with a boring classic and say Hentai vs Furries. Just kidding. It's Pokémon. -
Out of the official touhou Games, which is the best designed
Canaranjo replied to ScarletCyro's topic in Official Works
Title is a bit anbiguous there, OP. For a moment I thought you meant which touhou fangame is best designed xD (thank god it's not that discussion though, otherwise we'd die on that hill) I'm a big casual so I won't really include information about spellcards, patterns, pacing, rng, or the like, but here goes: Personally, contrary to the opinion that has been shared with me by other people, I quite like the minigames introduced in the recent installments of the series (Wbwc's and UFO's special power-ups; the cards in unconnected marketeers...) they help the game feel fresh. If we're talking traditional touhou, however... I will always say Mountain of Faith. The thematic progression in that game is absoulutely stellar, every stage feels fresh and memorable. The difficulty progression feels smoother than other games (aside from a spike in the waterfall stage) and each boss has a different flavor of danmaku going for them, so it doesn't get too repetitive. -
I can see OP can't make up their mind, hehe. I like Patchouli. Give me all the Patchys. Forever and ever. Strangely, I have very little to do with her, so I'm not sure why I relate to her so much. Either opposites attract, or I'm a bigger weirdo than I estimated. Suika is my top two! In contrast to the serious and gloomy nature of the top spot, her carefree lifestyle teaches me to not worry about life and enjoy it as much as you can. Isn't that inspiring?
