  1. Sasamisa hope you doing well AND STAYING AWESOME!!!

  2. Let's face it, they all are! Definitely not enough Reactions to go around. (^_~)
  3. Oh cripes! I will keep doing that, mixing up all the various versions of her in my head. Fairchild is the one from Alan Moore's Lost Girls. To make matters worse, I don't think it's ever outright stated in the Disney version, but it definitely is in Through The Looking Glass by way of a poem. (=^_^=) Even more embarrassing for me is that one of my favourite Japanese artists, Mizumo Nakamura, is an absolute Alice in Wonderland fanatic and he always calls all the sisters by their original family name in his writeups of them. (#^_^#)
  4. Wasn't Remilia's link to Vlad Tepes revealed to be a complete lie though!? (^_~) In any case, my two cents would undoubtedly include Alice as well, since she is not only much smarter than Marisa, she also happens to based on Alice Fairchild from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, who herself was learning to speak French from her older sister Lorena before she went and disappeared down the rabbit hole and all the malarkey that followed afterwards. (^_^)
  5. Eulogous is definitely on the right track, you know, simply because there are so many different genres of fangames. Indeed, I often joke to my best mate that for every game, there's undoubtedly a Touhou version of it, and just by virtue of that alone, it will be 100% better than the original was. (#^_^#)
  6. I did say in the Chatbox last night that Tenshi does score fairly high in the polls though... certainly higher than my favourite, Suika. Therefore, I don't think people hate her as much as you believe, Sir I, and nowhere near the level of say, Joon. (^_^;) As for her motivations - and I'm sure CVN will agree on this - she behaves pretty much the way the Greek Gods used to behave, in that they played mankind for their sport. When you have so much power that the people beneath you are literally insects by comparison, why wouldn't you be a brat. (^u^)
  7. Wow! You actually cited one of my choices Ken, and not only that, my favourite of the three as well: I'm honoured! It's ironic, you know, since the night I spotted you talking about it on the Chatbox, I wasn't going to bother posting first of all. Like I stated right back at the beginning, on account of the ME/CFS, I didn't feel particularly good. However, the three tracks I picked popped into my head and I thought, what the hell. (^_^) Speaking of which, in case it wasn't blatant enough already from how game orientated they all were, these were my choices:- 1) ARA - Area 4 (Capital City of Flowers in the Sky) 2) Composer for The Mystery of Gensokyo - Nostalgic Blood of the East ~ Old World 3) Yukari - Palace of the Earth Spirits It's been a fun tournament in any event, and it's certainly given me a lot more insight into different varieties of music associated with Touhou Project. Thank you again everybody for taking part and making it all possible. (^_~)
  8. Okay, I suppose this is sort of relevant to the discussion - I noticed it yesterday evening in Google Images when I was looking up 'CoLA' after Tenkko mentioned it in the Like/Hate thread).
  9. I've only just noticed this thread, and I wasn't aware a character sorter existed either, so I'll just cut & paste my list for now:- 01) Suika Ibuki 02) Marisa Kirisame 03) Youmu Konpaku 04) Patchouli Knowledge 05) Kisume 06) Yoshika Miyako 07) Nitori Kawashiro 08) Yuuka Kazami 09) Futo Mononobe 10) Mima Fair to say that if it hadn't have been for Wandering Souls, I probably still wouldn't have any serious interest in Touhou Project, much beyond the random artwork I was seeing appear on various image boards. There certainly wouldn't be around a 2.5 million yen collection of almost 500 figurines, plushes, books, CDs, bags, clear files, badges, keychains, posters, tapestries, and other assorted items, that's for sure. (^_~)
  10. Definitely support the Meiling Appreciation Fan Club that seems to be gathering steam in this thread (I know my mate Chris would be totally onboard with it, so I get two tries okay), but Sakuya... can't say I ever went through a phase with her myself, Tenkko. Granted, her Stage 5 theme is awesome; easily the best tune in EoSD in my humble opinion. However, right from the get go, I took an instant dislike to her in Wandering Souls, not least because she appeared to have that big sister of the group vibe going on. I suppose it didn't help much that she was way underpowered compared to Reimu & Marisa either, something even Estheone admitted when I eventually pointed it out to him. (=^_^=) (It says わくわく / waku-waku on that Meiling GIF by the way, indicating she's trembling with excitement.)
  11. Didn't we already have a couple of threads about this already? I recall the character hate one especially, because I said Komachi first of all, though my opinion of her has changed considerably from the time I originally played Wandering Souls and rage quitted over that damn annoying boat move of hers. Amusingly as well, despite both her & Aya not being among my favourites, both their theme tunes are - go figure. (^_^;)
  12. Heh, don't worry about it... I only realised recently myself that ドクペ / Dokupe is just a typical Japanese abbreviation for ドクターペッパー / Dr Pepper. It's also apparently a fake brand in the 神様のメモ帳 / Kami-sama no Memo-chou (God's Memo Pad, although the Americans as usual changed God to Heaven to avoid upsetting the Christians with Japanese heathen nonsense, as they see it anyway) light novel series. (^_^)
  13. Funny story: my brother & I once bought one of those Super Malt drinks back when we were still teenagers, and god was it bad. I don't either of us could finish it, so yeah, I guess that would be our choice. (>_<)
  14. Er, no! She's clearly based on Alice Fairchild from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. She'd be far more likely to have a Cockney accent, albeit a lot posher, and I wouldn't put it past some fans to give her one of those either. (^p^) Indeed, for extra amusement in regard to voices, take a look at this pretty short skit by CTM:-
  15. Not sure if serious (you did see what is written on Suika's oversize can, I take it?).
