I'm on Windows 10. I went into my printers and scanners settings and removed all of them. Idk why but the game decided to work after that. I found this solution on a random forum post somewhere.

I couldn't get past the "girls are deploying" until I removed some of the printers I was apparently connected to in settings. Just leaving this note here for anyone who might have the same problem.

This is really fun to play! I'm very grateful to both the translators and creators that made it so I could play this game. I've only played a portion but I've really enjoyed it so far. Ran just hit level 20! She wreaks people all over the place. Also I'm working of leveling up Kogasa because I like her skill. I like the level of difficulty so far and the incentives to play faster. Also I like the reinforcements, they're usually in a place that gives you time to adapt your strategy, and that's fun. Small bug: Viewing the second partner of a pair up makes you unable to view the first without saving and resuming the game.
