I know it can be WHINY as heck, but bear with me...

I think ever since this year began, I've been worried about Touhou. Not because of the stuff in here that can be objectionable to a Christian (Which is understandable, there'll be Christians who don't like Touhou for that reason, and I could agree there are things in Touhou that I don't agree.) , but something far more... unfortunate to say at least. I always had this lingering fear whenever I just consume Touhou content, that I'll go back to a pervert that I used to be back in 2020 - Nov. 2021. It scares me because I can't even ENJOY Touhou without that fear lingering in my mind. Basically ruin my streak and most importantly, ruin myself. I've sinned so hard, that I can't enjoy the games from start to finish with clear conscious. So, what am I going to do?

The more you think, the more miserable you will be. I am not a Esaih(Christain), but as you know, sins which do not involve other individuals will be forgiven by God. You can not be perfect which is why you ask God everyday that you do not become those who become ignorant; basically think they are immune to sins(that attitude is also the downfall in every field in life).

If you have done my wrong, be eager to rectify it by doing a good, simple.

Alcohol.

Alcohol is not itself bad, but is associated with the sin of drunkenness. The Bible warns against the excess of alcohol, which leads to drunkenness, but does not condemn the use of alcohol entirely, in some cases even encouraging its use. However, there are those who become addicted to alcohol, who cannot maintain the balance of moderation, and who as such are better to abstain entirely from it so as not to unduly tempt themselves. I had an acquaintance who's coming to faith was the catalyst of his recovery from alcoholism; his inclinations to the temptation were so strong that he did not trust himself to see other people drink, not even as depicted in film. He did not judge others for their freedom, but had come to understand for himself a need for greater abstinence.

If you find Touhou is triggering a temptation in you, you ought to abstain from it. I don't know if that is what's going on, nor can I; you will have to make that determination yourself. Make sure you're praying about it, and I will be praying for God's guidance for you.

Ephesians 5:15-16

Spoiler

@Ken Hisuag, I'll try to be more specific. I used to watch NSFW content of Touhou, which spanned to years until I stop watching them like around early 2022(?). Well let's say it negatively affected me, specifically mentally. Now, I can't enjoy it because I watched this kind of content in the past, and also because Urumi's clothing choice.

This.

So tired of seeing so called "Christians" that are forgetting one of their religion's main pillar: Forgiveness. It ain't just about sin & punishment, only extremist fools will think that way (unfortunately, some churches just LOVE using that to scare people into worship, since many are afraid of the afterlife and facing consequences, which in this case is "hell". Fortunatly, some churches actually help people into finding forgivness). Nobody is perfect 24/7, and nobody can expect anyone else being perfect.

It's all a cycle: You live, you make mistakes (sins), you suffer from the consequence of your sin (therefor, it's your punishment), then you seek/ask for forgiveness if the burden is too great to bear alone. Then you continue to live, and strive to not make the same mistakes. Sinning without punishment means you do not realize your are making a mistake, and some punishment will inevitably "strike" you at some point (either you realize your mistake, or someone tells you). Punishment without forgiveness means you're standing still, hurting yourself without learning, growing and moving forward.

Honestly, you're the only one to blame for "perverting" your perception of Touhou. How you live with that now is up to you (in other word, how you get forgiveness for that is up to you), but calling out others on doing the same like you did before is just being an hypocrite, and it won't remove the guilt you have, it will just make you feel worse because by judging others you are also judging yourself.

my man cannot chill for 5 seconds without thinking about the scary touhou pornography
as @Grisaid above, what you're experiencing right now is purely your fault simply because you choose to be scared of something which will not affect you unless you purposefully look after it. it's not gonna haunt your dreams or some shit.
touhou has many, and I do mean, MANY, media you can enjoy. you really shouldn't be worrying yourself about the porn ghost going after you to try and ruin your life. it may have happened before, but as long as you have learned from such an ordeal not to become addicted to it again, it doesn't really make sense to be scared of it, yeah? even more so considering you've been "enduring" it for this long, for lack of a better term.
best thing you can do is acknowledge its existence, but just choose not to care. porn is inevitable for everything, so being scared of it makes no sense. just live with it, consuming it or not.

tl;dr: just chill lol

(this is not in any way trying to be rude, I genuinely just don't get why you're struggling so hard with this. you've been better for this long, why keep caring?)

I am a heavy porn consumer, there have been days where I came 3-4 times.
but I make sure that it doesn't affect my day-to-day activities at all. One of the virtues of most religions, not just the Abrahamic religions, is moderation. Excess and extremes typically lead one down the path of sin and impurity, but diligence in correcting those faults may make you one of the most virtuous persons to have ever existed, or purify you of any impurity.

A fear to fall into the Abyss is a fear that comes naturally. You've gone to the Abyss and come out scarred, what makes it different this time?
Experience is the word you're looking for. You now know your boundaries, and have set them in the appropriate area. Calm and trust yourself, for you're smarter than you think.

The original sin is also an example of how falling into the Abyss doesn't necessarily mean the destruction of your humanity and purity. Take joy in life; but also moderate your joy so it doesn't spill over into excess and impurity.
That includes working, burnout is an actual condition that your body will suffer from.

Also, if you're a fan of Horror, Faith: The Unholy Trilogy, encapsulates this teaching, as well as a few others, perfectly.

As fellow believer I can understand that fear getting lost in your temptations, but that doesn't mean to shun all pleasure use it in moderation and if you mess up stop ask for forgivness and try your best to stay on the path less tread,  and with "Not because of the stuff in here that can be objectionable to a Christian" are you referring to how the MCs using magic and spells land stuff like that.
