Description

Tired of Marisa and Alice constantly borrowing and sometimes stealing books from her library, Patchouli Knowledge stashes her books collection deep inside a fortress filled with traps. The game starrs Marisa and Alice where the player can switch between either girl at any time in the current stage (except in Patchouli's castle). The girls have their own lifebar and different shot types. Marisa fires a magic burst suitable for dealing with hordes of enemies, while Alice fires a rapid laser beam making her good in destroying weak enemies. The player must battle through eight stages, fighting a boss at the end of each stage and stealing their weapons before reaching Patchouli's fortress for final showdown.

Very underrated fan game.

The game play, the design, the soundtrack. Are all something awesome that I keep coming back to, despite how hard a game may be.

Dunno why but when I started it, none of the buttons worked except for my down arrow which I'm pretty sure had every single key bound to it.

I could only select "start" and whatever stage it would go to (Flandres) and when I would skip the into with the down arrow the cursor would go to "quit game" and thats all i could really do.

Wish I could've played.

in case anyone wonders, that is exactly what it is and all you have to do to reset the button configuration is to delete the config.dat from the game folder, after that you can play the game normally.

Though it sounds like dogshit this works. Deleting the config.dat file works.
