sorry for the stupid question but im just wondering if the fighting game spinoffs are easy to learn for total beginner of the genre. i have played (dont ask about my 1ccs) all of the main series of the game and some of the spinoff but never really tried the fighting games, i hear ULiL is pretty good for learning the mechanics but is it good for total beginners? i had some (skill) issues with skullgirls and i hope to maybe get better in one of the spinoffs and learned some few tricks, better my self esteem, and overall git gud before going back to the regular fighting games genre. thank you!

this is my personal experience with the game but I found it to be significantly easier to pick up than hisoutensoku did, and that's why I don't enjoy that game as much
I'm not sure if it's extremely beginner friendly, but it IS somewhat easy to learn, so I'm sure you'll do just fine
and it's a lot more fun imo too
