kaguya: “it was all a trial, i’m not the antagonist but cirno confirmed it was all a trial… cmon in.. the festival is waiting for you human.”

*before you stepped in yukari stops you.*

yukari: “hey, this is one magnificent gensokyo, there are many gensokyos out there. but this one… created by a girl of nuclear fusion and elements itself. she looks like utsuho reiuji and koakuma combined.”

*yukari looks up at the darkening sky, stars start to glow again.*

yukari: “universe creation, its perfection depends on the one. is ours perfect? likely not, this incident will be this gensokyo’s and the creator’s to remember…”

*she looks back at you.*

yukari: “now show them. you still have your powers. show them yourself, this story will be forever told in the village and maybe beyond.”

*you nod and start to walk past yukari before she spoke up once more.*

yukari: “hey, thank you for saving gensokyo.”

*you nod again, before coming in the village with remilia, flandre, and sakuya close behind. then as you step through everyone starts clapping and cheering, you also notice two familiar people… ibunde and kuyara! they’re saved!*

ibunde: “yay! you were a true hero!”

kuyara: “saving all of gensokyo!”

*you also notice something, they have features of a youkai, it seems like the youkai energy as been split between the two so now they’re half oni and half tengu respectively. reisen hands you dango for you to chow down and the starry night glimmers as beautiful as it always been. then… there’s reimu.*

reimu: “hey friend… thank you for saving gensokyo…”

*reimu gave you a hug and joins the crowd with you… gensokyo couldn’t thank you enough…*

“are you cheerful too, gensokyo?”

you: “what? did time actually get fixed there? what’s happened?”

kaguya: “the festival’s being unending with people having full energy for the week is still going strong. now with happy youkai. so… what do you say?”

*sakuya who was standing diagonal from kaguya nods with a smile, she really wants to go. remilia saw sakuya and faces kaguya.*

remilia: “i’ll leave the decision to this human.”

*she points at you, waiting for a response.*

you: “… let’s head to the festival.”

*sakuya gets starry eyed and then regains her posture to get flandre.*

kaguya: “alright, let’s head to the festival!

it’s clear we only have one more chapter left… this is chapter chapter 37 with 38 the final one

*youmu is back and iku is back. all the spirited away victims have returned. reisen, who apparently was next to you finally spoke again.*

reisen: “best friend? we’ve done a good job, yes?”

*reisen smiles, the dopamine of all the work paid off.*

reisen: “oh my…”

*the incident is over, you made some new friends with even youkai in the process, cirno is gone. eirin is even back. but tewi? that’s another can of worms.*

reisen: “thanks for assisting us.”

???: “reisen!”

*it was kaguya.*

kaguya: “can you please help me in setting this up?”

reisen: “of course, kaguya-sama!”

*kaguya smiles and waves at you, you wove back. before remilia approaches you as everyone starts heading to the human village for some reason.*

remilia: “hey human… want some tea or wine?”

you: “o-oh! of course!”

*she leads to her mansion, sakuya then sends you there with remilia and serves tea for you and wine for remilia.*

remilia: “don’t worry, i’m alright. the sun only did minor damage to me.”

*she smiles.*

hatate: “hey! you know what? how about send clownpiece back to hell and lock up the place for real this time! she deserves the eternal suffering of hell. also f_ck all

clownpiece: “wh- what?? you’re saving me, for someone who i accidentally drove insane? oh my…”

daiyousei: “hatate is such a useful teammate…”

cirno: “please komachi!”

komachi: “uh… i’m so lazy so i’ll just-“

eiki: “I’LL SCOLD YOU LATER, KOMACHI! KEEP HER RESTRAINED DOWN!”

clownpiece: “… thanks hatate…”

*komachi finally kills hatate right there.*

yuuka: “hey yama, can i have cirno to melt in order to water my plants?”

eiki: “if you want to go to hell then go right ahead.”

*yuuka smiles and waits for komachi to slice cirno. then komachi did the same to daiyousei, leaving the first ever real death to a fairy.*

cirno: “F_CK ALL YOU ALL, ESPECIALLY THAT HUMAN, THE DECLINE TO ALL FAIRIES… HAS BEGUN!”

*as soon as cirno finishes, komachi seals cirno’s fate by another death. once that’s done, yuuka comes up to a now dead cirno to take her to her garden, last anyone would ever see her ever again. sealing her reputation for good. those who were missing returned… well everyone but the herald of spring and the white rabbit of good fortune… gensokyo’s fate is back to reimu’s hands again…*

chapter 35 1/2

*cirno looked up at eiki, tears fled from her eyes. she was extremely pissed that you ruined her plans but it was worth it in the end.*

cirno: “IS ANYONE ELSE ON MY SIDE?!”

eiki: “ok, i said what i said.”

*she turns to where everyone else was.*

eiki: “anyone got a word for these 4?”

*tenshi stood up, tears fall from her face and points towards hatate.*

tenshi: “i should’ve not let iku be taken by that m-monster.”

*everyone stares at her confused. then came to the conclusion that’s why the weather was all screwed up. she cries.*

tenshi: “oh, what worth is it?! am i the spoiled child like th-they say?!”

*she then looks at confused you in particular.*

tenshi: “i’m sorry human… maybe i really am a brat.”

*everyone is in silence as she sits down, still crying.*

eiki: “… ok i probably shouldn’t do that. but…”

*she turns back to the 4.*

eiki: “now, you’ve threatened the power to gensokyo so great that even i had to be involved, especially being spirited away.”

*eiki shoves her rod in cirno’s face.*

eiki: “and for this reason…”

*komachi steps in, preparing her scythe. she would rather be at her boat sleeping right now by how tired she is.*

eiki: “PREPARE TO BE EXECUTED!”

you: “so what now eiki?”
eiki: “… worthy for execution, gotta say: i’m proud of you for doing this without reimu’s help. restabilizing the balance of gensokyo, you have earned lots of good once you die in the future, this should give you a chance for heaven.. but for now…”
*eiki turns toward yukari.*
eiki: “can you please send these bodies to the execution site?”
*yukari nods, opening gaps to the place eiki does execution. the bodies then fall through them. the yama then leaves the area to start execution before yelling out.*
eiki: “the execution should start in an hour!”
*as soon as eiki starts to leave the area she sees something happening at the lake and calls everyone to come see it. the misty lake is bubbling. which is weird.*
yukari: “oho! what’s this?”
*suddenly, a burst of water emerges, sprouting fairies on all spots of the lake. all to be coming from them spirited away to the “imaginations” of drowned victims that once tried to approach the mansion.*
remilia: “w-woah! were there drowned victims in these waters!”
sakuya: “seems so, remilia-sama.”
flandre: “so beautiful water!”
*all the nature starts to restore itself because of the fairies’ return. but there’s one missing… lily white. but that doesn’t matter where she is, missing or not. but… she is missing?*
eiki: “ah… the gensokyo that once was before the incident. i’ll be going now…”
*eiki then leaves, the sky is now filled with fairies spreading joy and finding their homes.*

*the yama soon arrived to where you were, reisen finally came back, and then to your surprise: a gap appears. everyone knew what that meant… the boundaries are finally stable again. and yukari pops out of that gap.*

yukari: “ah nice to back outside.”

flandre: “where have you been?!”

yukari: “… well, i’ve been observing everything. from this human’s eyes.”

*she pats your shoulders, this makes you feel special for once.*

remilia: “so waitwaitwaitwait… that’s how we got in? the gap? you’re telling me you granted this human the power of the boundaries…?”

reisen: “so that’s how i went to kaguya pretty fast from day 1?! and the mizuchi encounter?!”

yukari: “fufufu… this human is the real hero of the story. how’d you not know who the human is?”

remilia: “this human…”

???: “…one of my good friends.”

yukari: “ah. you’re back.”

you: “REIMU!”

reimu: “mhm… what has happened here?”

*CRASH! marisa comes in as well, looking all fresh and new again.*

yukari: “a story for another time… right human?”

*yukari squeezes you. reimu searches around and finds all the “dead” antagonists.*

reimu: “who defeated them?”

*everyone looked at you.*

reimu: “m-my friend?”

*reimu approaches you with marisa poking at the antagonists with her broom.*

reimu: “you have done well, it’s been 7 days without my help… and you have done it all.”

yukari: “credit me for the help!”

reimu: “yeah that too.”

i forgot all about starving artists on roblox and just got jumpscared by these arts which are surprisingly good

*everyone gets to where cirno and daiyousei was, seeing them lying dead with bruises everywhere, even blood pooling out.*

you: “could it be?”

yuuka: “i’ll ask the yama after their execution that if i could melt cirno to water so i can use her for watering my flowers..”

*yuuka starts to leave until clownpiece and hatate fall from the sky and land on their feet.*

clownpiece: “I SHALL SPREAD FREEDOM TO- nevermind! r-run!”

hatate: “d-did we get anyone to join?!”

clownpiece: “nope! it only made them join to-“

*and that was before the two was blown off from one more beam. now, the team is done for. and before you could say thanks to yuuka, she’s off back to her garden.*

remilia: “dang, i need to get rid of all this snow behind my beautiful mansion! that explosion of the igloo was worth it though besides it damaging the mansion itself.”

*but where is yukari and the others, they can’t return… right?*

*yuuka is right next to a weakened cirno lying on the ground next to daiyousei.*

yuuka: “mizuchi has freed me from tenshi’s imagination. iku has been freed, thus this is why everything is all sunny again!”

*she then points the parasol again at cirno and daiyousei.*

yuuka: “dare interfere again, threaten the power balance of gensokyo, come down to my hands and perish. now, i shall be waiting for the day when you get executed… but, one last blow won’t hurt.”

cirno: “WAIT, NONONONONO-“

*another beam strikes cirno and daiyousei, then all of a sudden, all the current in season flowers start to thrive once more. finally, the stupid ice fairy is gone.*

*koishi tries to dash attack before a giant yin yang orb slams her to the ground repeatingly burning her body without it… well… rotting.*

*but before flandre, you, or remilia could move your feet are in ice preventing you from moving.*

flandre: “i can destroy anything watch-! no… nonono!”

cirno: “that ability is “frozen”! ahaha!”

*cirno then uses a giant wind that throws remilia and flandre outside in the sun that’s no longer behind clouds. only ending up with you and also kuyara slamming amongst the walls.*

kuyara: “you’re such a survivor, i-“

cirno: “ice sign: friction of life!”

you: “a-again?!”

*she aims the giant ice shard at kuyara before she can use her tengu speed, causing her fate to come down to that too. this leaves only cirno, a still koishi, and you remaining… what has this come down to?! maybe daiyousei is right, don’t get involved… but maybe once more, the manipulation of boundaries could work again…*
