Recently, if I even bring up the name Moriya Shrine DOT org to my friends that play Touhou, I recieve hate for it. I understand that it can be considered piracy, but what if I simply can't afford the games?? Plus most of the Steam versions of Touhou are entirely in Japanese! The other day at school, I mentioned being a member of this site to my only IRL friend that likes Touhou and he immediately got mad at me and switched the topic to the Touhou wiki. Why are people mad at us?! Again, even if there's a chance we are pirating, we can't afford the games in most cases!! If you're mad about that or at me, for not giving any money to ZUN, I own real authentic fumos now. And those are just as expensive as the games. You may be thinking... "well, why not just buy the games already if you have enough money for the fumos?" The games aren't as accessable to those living in the West who don't know Japanese very well/are completely unfamiliar with it. I don't understand the hate given to this forum... The way I first found out about touhou was because of Bad Apple and mods i saw on steam then eventually i found the fumos and decided to play the game for myself

definitely a huge culture shock to everyone in that situation

bc youkai and stuff but also the Gensokyo citizens would see new inventions and stuff and be confused

depends on the fumo bc some (like cirno for exmple) are more expensive and theres also deka sized fumos and whatnot but if youre talking normal fumo, its around $35 - $60 estimated

i checked and it says reimu is $36

I saw someone on here mention Doomguy and that's a pretty valid answer too

Crazy Dave is also a pretty epic character

He's actually kind of underrated ngl... because he literally weaponizes plants and uses them to defend his home while killing zombies in the process, which i think is pretty badass
