Comfort Characters?

Ran would seem lovely to hang around with. Love her theme as well. Patchouli is also someone that I would like to vibe with since I enjoy reading too


Edit: Since there are so many characters, It would take a bit to consider all of them lol
 
I'd say Shinmyoumaru, as she's literally the most precious character to come out of the franchise. Seeing pictures of her being cute with Seija brings about a bubbly sort of joy that's hard to get elsewhere. Must cherish and protect the smol inchling princess~

honestly I love patchouli because I kinda love to read books and I kinda love the design she makes her look like a comforting caracther to me (first time posting kinda nervous )

I have a lot of comfort characters for myself in general, but for Touhou? Wakasagihime definitely. Her design is so charming with her mermaid features, and, in the omake, it even states that she likes to sing songs and pick up stones! I mean, how much more can you love the fishgirl?

Can definitely see why you picked her, as I think that canonically she's one of the nicest youkai.

Same.. I also think that too!
For my twin sister too in a question of a comfort character in Touhou, kind of Monobe no Futo for her. My sister says her theme is good and her design too, and also likes her "Old-English" speak. And also because of her epic boat too.

Pretty interesting that your sister is interested in Touhou! Besides a couple Touhou MMD animations that I've sent her to watch before through Discord (one of them being the one with Kokoro which I have on my profile status), my own sister has zero interest in Touhou. lol

She just doesn't hold any interest in it. One reason could be that she's not interested in Japanese mythology unlike myself. Plus, I made her watch me play some of Mountain of Faith a while back, and she said it looked boring to her (though she didn't watch me for very long). I've kept thinking about getting her to watch me play another Touhou game and see if finds interest in it, but I haven't gotten around to it and I'm not sure she'd be interested in it regardless. The only Touhou (fan)game she might would be interested in would be Mystia's Izakaya because of it largely being similar to Stardew Valley. She probably wouldn't be interested much in that one either though. Well, I wouldn't want her seeing the "inappropriate" parts of Touhou anyway (and I'd be able to keep the computer more to myself from her not being interested in the games lol). Though she is an adult now.

I also tried to make my sister discover touhou because she is interested in Japanese anime in general , therefore I made watch me play touhou 10 and made her listen to some ost and musics but I didn't t convince her sadly , if you have any advice on that matter I will be taker because I think she could really enjoy the caracthers and strokes who knows maybe even one day she would like playing the games I hope so at least

Well... besides koakuma and clownpiece, sanae and meira i hate them, i wouldn't hate meira if she wasn't samurai, i hate samurai
But my top ones are Chiyuri Kitashirakawa and especially Yumemi Okazaki

I know more about the PC-98 games than most people, but I do often forget about Meira to be honest. Though may I ask why you hate samurai? Is it just that you don't really like warrior characters, or you don't like samurai because of the historical reality of them?
