in fiction I would say Yang Wenli from ginga eiyuu densetsu and in touhou my goat Rinnosuke

Yes, Doremy and reisen remind me of my mother, daiyousei reminds me a bit of myself from her attitude, sukuna relates to me with her own growth (literally) and her struggle of being a inchling because sometimes in life I feel small like her, Cirno,tewi,and Kisume all remind me of myself in the past either being an asshole or a depressed loather, and Chimata,suika,and Mokou reminded me of my dad because of his attitude and job

I don't have any particular characters in mind yet but I like my dinosaur plushie because I hug it when I sleep. It's very soft and looks kinda funny sometimes.

Can't really call any Touhou character a comfort character to me, though I am quite fond of Kogasa because of how dorky most fanart tended to depict her. Also pretty fond of Suika because of the drinking bit.

I don't like demonic things either (as I'm a Christian too, and I've witnessed some of the effects demons have had on human evil), but I see Touhou's world as "different" from our own, so I don't really consider Koakuma to be "demonic". At least not in the way we Christians should see it. (Still though, she's probably one of my least-favorite Touhou characters, but mainly because she just doesn't interest me as much.)

Well, I've studied much of the history of both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, alongside some of the Soviet Union, and let's just say that the stuff they did was FAR worse than what the samurai did... Though I still know that the samurai did some pretty horrendous stuff. Anyway, I suppose I was right in guessing it is because of the historical reality of the samurai for being why you hate them.

Im very extremist to what's demonic, for that reason even since im aware that she is just a shikigami, i can't get to feel like not hating her, im slightly confused why cause i don't feel the same about suika (who is an oni)
