Which Touhou game do you find the easiest?

Which official Touhou game you've played you find the easiest, and which danmaku Touhou fangame you find the easiest?
I'll start:
From official works i find Touhou 4: Lotus Land Story the easiest since it's the first (official) game i played on normal difficulty and yet i barely had any problems, and the final boss is just so short and easy it got me surprised it was all from the fight.
From fangames, i only played 2 of them, and Touhou: Servants of Harvest Wish is the easiest one, i think it's also beginner friendly, you dont have to collect power points and there is easy difficulty for extra stage.

Well, as I've mentioned before, the Touhou games I generally find easiest are PCB, IN, PoFV, and UDoALG. For the Touhou fighting games, I'd say ULiL is easiest.
Of course, really any Touhou game can be pretty difficult for me on easy, let alone normal, and since I haven't tested my skills long enough for normal on any Touhou game, then I'm not sure which one would be easiest for me on normal. But, if I had to guess, I'd say probably UDoALG.

I was able to (barely) beat Sunken Fossil World on easy by spamming the Z and X keys the first time playing it. Since DDC is a proper bullet hell (and I wasn't able to beat it for the first time) id say that SWF is the easiest touhou game I've played.

(I can't speak on fangames game since I haven't played any)

Sunken Fossil World is THE HARDEST dang game I've ever played. Despite being on easy, I've tried to get past Yuugi a dozen times and I still can't beat her for the life of me.
Sad, as I ADORE the artstyle of that game.
I almost beat Sukuna with Sakuya at least once before in DDC. So, DDC is most certainly the "easier" of those two games for me.

Real talk, Story of Eastern Wonderland. Yeah, the game pretty jank and kills your hand to play, but the contents are pretty subdued compared to modern Touhou games. Only five stages (well, four and the Mima fight), no real danmaku until stage 3 boss, generous item drops, and long bomb duration that lets you shred bosses with even the weakest shot in the game. You can pretty much bomb spam through Marisa and Mima once you get the first three stages down, so the only challenging part of the game is the extra stage (which, funnily enough, is considered to be one of the series' hardest). Lotus Land Story is a close second with it being considerably less jank to play, but the presence of actual danmaku you have to dodge prevents me from saying it's easier than SoEW. Marisa A is broken as fuck in that game, though, literally just a free 1CC.

Really? PoFV (at least for me) is probably the second hardest game I've played behind SA, though it'll likely be #4 if UFO and LoLK are as difficult as I hear. Then again, lots of people say that Yumemi and PoDD is miles harder than Eiki Shiki but I can 1cc that game no problem. Just my luck, I suppose.

I'd say DDC is probably medium-hard difficulty for me. The game's mechanics inherently require you take risks and put yourself in harm's way, but it's quite generous once you get the patterns down. Boss patterns are pretty tough to make up for it, with Seija's control flipping spell cards being the worst of the lot.

Well, PoFV is just easier in how it's set up with the matches. Though, depending on which character I use, and which one I fight against, then the game can either be pretty hard, or really easy.
But, for the match mode, I can play the game on normal difficulty pretty much fine compared to other Touhou games as long as I can choose the right characters and dodge good enough to win. Still, I'm not entirely sure either why it's easier for me otherwise. It just is.
In regards to DDC, in that one playthrough where I almost beat the game with Sakuya, Seija actually wasn't too difficult for me. Her attacks are somewhat random, but I somehow learned the patterns to that "randomness" pretty quickly. I think I also just had a ridiculous amount of luck that time.

If you were doing route A I want to know your opinion on benben's stupid curving laser spell card that kept sniping my ass.

I don't really remember that part tbh. I think I had trouble at that part, but I just don't remember all that much.
Since I was playing as Sakuya, I probably used her bombs to deal with those shots.

i second your opinion on lotus land story, when i played it for the first time, i was suprised when it ended with how much of a breeze it was compared to some other touhou games

I got LLS 1cc on my first run when my only previous danmaku was SoEW, so yeah that one easily wins that title for me

imperishable night, no doubt about it. the patterns are pretty easy to figure out, the deathbomb window is insanely wide, and you can cheese it with border team and their tiny ass hitbox.

as for fangames... um i haven't played any in a while to where i can remember them well enough so i'm not rlly gonna comment on this one.

I pretty much always choose Youmu and Yuyuko when I play IN as for some reason they seem to be the easiest for me to control. Regardless, I do agree with you in that IN is one of the easiest Touhou games.
Eirin was also the first Touhou boss and IN the first Touhou game (Zanmu and Eiki, and UDoALG and PoFV notwithstanding) that I was able to properly beat.

Definitely seconding Lotus Land Story. For as much as I love Touhou, I'm not very good at it and only have a few successful 1CC attempts on normal difficulty across Windows games. I have all but one good ending in LLS, and on my first attempt, I started with six lives and finished with seven.

PCB with Sakuya is very easy since she gets 4 bombs per life, and borders make you invincible every now and then too. I think IN is close with Border Team and the huge death bomb window, but you get so many bombs with PCB Sakuya that you can just skip difficult patterns by spamming bombs and you'll still have a lot left over by the final stage.

Touhou 17. You can pretty much abuse otter hyper and delete bullets for a while. Took me a few attempts to lunatic 1cc.
I almost beat that game with these mechanics. I've tried with both Youmu and Reimu with Otter, though I still haven't been successful in completing the game yet.
