Album of the Week: PLANET//SHAPER - Camellia
Favorite Track: δ:for The Delta
In my opinion, this is up there as one of Camellia's best works. His signature sound is at it's peak through all 14 tracks, but every song is still fresh, feeling like a new world to explore. The sound design is unique, the rhythms are tight, and the experience is well crafted all the way through.

Today is Wuhan THO. With Shanghai THO having announced that it would not be held this year, Wuhan THO has become the largest THO in China this year.

What does "Shanghai style market event" mean?
vanyk
vanyk
That is a term by Circle Goka for events similar to Shanghai THO. Those are events which combine classic market (without other activities), live and possibly other subevents. All of these events by the same organizing group. They are hold in a short period of time (2-3 days). From this side Houraisai was close to Shanghai THO. Many major THOs combine a party-like event, market event and live event. But the main differemce between Shanghai THO and other THOs is that the second ones have not only sales part on market events but also stage activities (performances, tournaments, free stage, etc.) and sometimes other activities.

There is the venue map of Wuhan THO. There are stage, and zones for different activities unrelated to sales.

There is the venue map of last year Shanghai THO. Even though there are some activities unrelated to sales, there are less of them anyway and there is no stage.

I'm thinking of using an artwork of Letty as my pfp on here for the entirety of this upcoming winter.
Just would have to find the right one to use...

I am actually thinking that when I do this, I'll use this image of her. Mainly because I love just how pretty Letty looks in this artwork.
I'm also thinking of changing my pfp to this within the first couple days of December.

Funnily enough, I had saved that artwork in my phone the day I posted this. Of course, I had found it in the course of looking for artworks of Letty to use, and I have thought about using it when the time comes for a while now.
Just didn't think to add this until a bit ago.

Just did 1cc in Touhou 5: Mystic Square, and i have noticed that Shinki is lowkey easier than Yumeko for some reason, or atleast the first 3 attacks

unpopular preference but, Reimu would look much cooler if:

- PC-98 Reimu's hair is kept (Windows hair color).
- Change her current lower half to her hakama/sandals combo like in her PC-98 variant.
- Keep the upper half the same as Windows Reimu (ribbon, hair tubes and shit).

Which Linux distribution would Kawashiro Nitori from Touhou Project be most likely to use? Or would she be more likely to use something like FreeBSD?

Anyone who can figure out who these two characters are that are cosplaying Meiling and Sakuya gets a cookie. (Not really though, as I don't have the money. ): )

I personally don't like the remake all that much. Of course, the original Ranma anime was among my first anime back in 2022, so I do have some bias due to nostalgia, but when I watched the first episode of the remake, it's artstyle seemed too "action-y" and the fact they gave female Ranma pink hair also rubbed me the wrong way. Alongside that, things seemed to be paced much too quickly in the remake as well.
But eh, I guess that's just my opinion.
I originally got into Ranma as I tend to like stuff with unique plots, and when I started watching it, I immediately started taking a liking to the characters despite their tendency to beat each other up. lol

i havent seen the remake yet. i want to tho to see what they do with the story after the original anime ended. i do miss red hair ranma though

I think the reason the remake is paced so fast is because they r apparently doing a more faithful adaptation which means all the filler that one in the old anime is gone now, which i think is nice.

i am kinda hoping that if the anime does make it far enough they can give a better closure to the story than the manga did. although i dont think it will happen since its supposed to be an extremely faithful adaptation 😔

I still like some of the fillers the original had though. Some of them were decently well-made.
Well, to me at least.

@YuyuFumo That is odd. Maybe we can get Nitorium on the case or something. Maybe you have to make a magma account? I'm not up to speed on this

Another non-Touhou song.
This one I have a lot of nostalgia for. Despite the video only being 6 years old, it feels like I've known it for far longer. I must've found this right around it was uploaded, but I cannot be completely sure.
