Which Touhou character would YOU ask for fashion advice?

Alice or Sakuya.

Alice makes living dolls as a hobby and crafts cute outfits for all of them. Regarding fashion, I think that fact alone speaks for itself.

Sakuya not only looks cool, but is in charge of all the house chores at the SDM. She should know better than anyone about clothing that is both comfy and fashionable.

Bonus choice: Seija, for an unexpected response.

Hecate, her gang obviously has the hardest fits IMO. Zun even gave her boots in the manga to make her cooler, and Piece is just awesome

Marisa wears black because she doesn't want to wash it too often, I wouldn't consider her an expert at all.

Really any of them tbh. One of the primary reasons I love Touhou's characters is because of just how good their outfits and designs are. So many of the characters are not only stylish (in their own way), but also are recognizable. Of course, I'm someone who considers "fashion" to be anything which looks good in my eyes (military uniforms are already a big example for me), so I suppose if there'd be anyone in Gensokyo I'd probably ask (well, more like outside of it) it would probably be Eiki. Just love her outfit. Still, as I said, I love many of the characters' outfits, so it'd be hard to choose who to ask.

Depends on what I'm planning to wear:

I'd ask Patchouli for advice on pajamas, seeing as how she practically lives in them (as do I if I don't have to leave the house on the weekends).
Mokou would have me covered for professional events with her seemingly wrinkle-free pants and pressed shirts (a skill I've yet to master).
Most other things I'd leave in the hands of Shinmyoumaru. I like to imagine she can sew with her needle-sword when she grows in size, and even still I'm sure the miracle mallet has the power to create some pretty nifty fits. Would certainly go to her for kimonos, as the one she sports is pretty awesome.

Rinnosuke

He's like the only dude there. Would be weird if I would ask a woman about what a dude could wear. Plus Rinnosuke probably has a bunch of clothes magazines from outside world considering how often fashion fades away. However, I think that to get some drip clothes in Gensokyo, you would need to find an expert on the subject. However, I don't remember anyone who would be able to sew clothes or whatever. Yet if there is such, this is the fella you must search for.

Definitely a pretty smart choice to make. Considering the stuff he tends to find from the outside world, he'd probably be at least reasonably aware of fashion both in the outside world and within Gensokyo, despite him probably not being the foremost authority on the subject. It's possible he could also be able to point you to where someone who can sew or otherwise make clothes might be. But it would probably be a character which hasn't been introduced in Touhou or something like that.

What, Mokou not masculine enough for you?

But seriously, most the fashion advice I got growing up was from my mother (Likely because I couldn't match clothes to save my life). There's certain things that women seem to be better than men at, and fashion seems to be one of them; most men have the mentality of 'whatever works and is comfortable'.

Girls in boy's clothing always look so handsome for some reason. On a side tangent, the first dream I ever had about Touhou (as far as I remember at least) was of me dressing up as Mokou for Halloween. This was back when I was still just getting into Touhou too. Despite me being big into Touhou, I don't seem to have many Touhou-related dreams for some reason. I should probably make a thread asking about Touhou-related dreams.
Though all of this was very off-topic. lol

I feel obliged to mention Chimata since no one did mention her. Surely the Market God would have a good fit or two in stock, right?

I agree, I listen to my mom for advice too. But uh, it might be just me, but I feel a little spooked talking to strangers about deep topics such as fashion.
But yes, Mokou has absolutely most fashionable and PEAK pants this world has ever seen.
