I think you need to emulate Japanese locale. If not that, then probably applying d3d8to9 or DXVK.

Is it normal for my game to launch with like 5 times speed? Every time i load in i don't get a chance to click what i want because it all moves so quick

I need help. 
I downloaded the game, but when I try to click on certain options on the menu like go to full screen to window, or change the key controls, it wont work. I also cant figure out which key is what while I'm playing like it says press button 0 to shoot, but I don't know what button 0 is, even when I tried to figure it out. Does anybody know how to help or how to fix this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks (sorry if I missed anything by the way, I,m new on here.

not sure if the problem is solved
but this one doesn't have any trojans or anything like that, these 3 detections from virustotal are false positives, look at kasperspy and eset, theyre one the most reliable antiviruses and they didnt detect anything, not to mention its just 3 antiviruses that said its a virus, just 3 antiviruses out of 51 or so

Any ideea why suddently it isn't working in my computer (win 10) anymore? It started giving me this error about 1-2 weeks ago. I did not do anything to the game when suddently it did not want to run it. I tested on another computer (win 10) and somehow it works. Maybe some windows related problem? Also the japaneese executable works just fine, so maybe a vpatch issue? pls help

1. Have you tried running the game in japanese locale?
2. check if you are missing any file. usually its d3d8 dll or d3d9 dll which would be missing.
3. is the vpatch dll for touhou 6 the right one? it has to have the name "unicode" in it.

1) Yes I tried, the japaneese .exe works with the japan locale, but not without, yet the english one doesn't run either way
2) I do have a d3d8.dll, also tried renaming it to d3d9, but with no result
3) I also have the vpatch_th06_unicode.dll file, and even with name changes to vpatch.dll, vpatch_th06.dll still ain't working.
I tried to redownload the game from here, but still gives me the same error
Searched the vpatch github for the vpatch.dll file, or any other solution, but to no avail.

That's unfortunate. Maribel Hearn has a great FAQ page on his website https://maribelhearn.com/faq/eosd
if nothing works I'd say its better to go into a touhou server and ask around.

Yeah no shot of solving this. Maribel Hearn doesn't help me here. Went to the THCrap discord server (because it is an issue that has to do with the english version), tried for several days to find a solution, but with no success... Good Luck to the poor souls that have to put up with this error, and if anyone fiinds a way to solve this he has my biggest gratitude.
