Odd Music Discovery

Previous post indirectly led to me remembering another example of odd music, and I figure I ought to take the opportunity to fill this thread a little more.

This truly caught me off guard. 




 
After so much time, there is still ambiguity surrounding the identification of "odd" music.

This is a one-man acappella performance; while this technique isn't too uncommon (noteworthy artist in the genre: Smooth McGroove), I believe it's slightly less common to be able to see all the parts, and certainly less common for it to be presented in such a performance style as this. Many parts correspond with the replication of a specific instrument, indicated both by the sound and the choreography.

That it happens to be a remix from one of my favorite films doesn't hurt. (Also, epilepsy warning perhaps?)

I believe a thread becomes locked if inactive for too long, so here's something to keep it available.

I saw this video with the intriguing subject of "pneumatic instrument." Even after watching said video and reading its description, I'm not entirely sure I know what's going on, but it shows impressive mechanical and musical competence.

This has been stuck in my head for several days. On the one hand, I'm firmly against uninvited "roasting" (a joke isn't funny unless it's shared between everyone involved); on the other, it's hard not to appreciate a clever comment, and even harder when they're utilized in an equally creative endeavor such as this.

as you can tell there will never be a better song than this. The song being about a clown shark represents a depiction of clowns in shark costumes. truly a song of all time

I'm a big fan of odd music. Can't bunker me down under one genre at all. My latest weird favorite has to be Steam Powered Giraffe with their version of Pink Pony Club.

 
Belatedly realized the F-16 song was better suited here, and as I so rarely have an opportunity to keep this thread relevant I was loath to let my oversight remain uncorrected.
Definitely not old; in fact I strongly suspect it's a mostly AI-assisted production. If so, this would be an appropriate example of proper utilization thereof (I hesitate to say useful).
