Going To Talk Some About My Old Decade-Long Story (Not Touhou-Related)

SateriCat17

Neko Youkai Meijin
Alright, so to begin with, this "Story" I refer to was/probably will be again a major part of my life for around a decade. My own username comes from the Story already. The word "Sateri" (pronounced Suh-teer-ee) refers to be technologically advanced civilization of "cat people" in the Story (with them heavily resembling anthropomorphic cats), and the number 17 is considered a sacred number by the Sateri people for various reasons.
Within the context of the Story, it is set within a massive group of over 10,000 galaxies often referred to as "the Holy Group". Though the main bulk of the Story is centered on the main Galaxy, which is unique in that it resembles a four-pointed star similar to the traditional depiction of the Bethlehem Star, and with this Galaxy having a massive preternatural "star" known as the "Great Sun". Now, the Great Sun is the very reason the Story was born in the first place from what I remember and is extremely central to the Story's wider "mythology", legends, symbols, peoples, etc. as a whole.
The wider series of narratives focuses on the massive-scale conflicts and wars between the astropolitical governments known as the "Galactic Nations" as well as conflicts dealing with invasions from alien peoples from other galaxies and with the wars against demons and other evil beings in times known as the "Mysti'ckai Eras". Much of these conflicts are either caused directly or covertly by the Story's ultimate main antagonist, the "Zeigwei Ali" and his two servants Evarka Fate and Nehkassel-Su. Though a couple other of the Story's other numerous antagonists include Skahsah (one of the evil Sateri within the Story, she takes over the Sateri Empire and creates a dictatorial dynasty with her children until her family's rule is ultimately brought down by one of her own descendants), Evarka Takarai (pronounced Tah-kuh-ruh) (an evil who creates a catastrophic war far into the future after he would pronounce a literal "rage against the Heavens").
Also, within the Story's context, it is heavily based on a "Biblical" worldview and is set within the idea of this group of galaxies playing a lot into a sort of wider "narrative" of Christian and Jewish worldviews but is different at the same time. Still though, the Story is much bigger than just a sort of "Christian propaganda", though the details of it are a bit too complicated, so I'll refrain from saying it.
Much of the Story's overall themes and concepts deal with the idea of a good versus evil narrative between the Lord God and the Zeigwei Ali, but it also deals with political machinations, war, morality, horror, philosophy, hope, redemption, and other such things, though the wider narratives are also pretty complicated. Regardless, much of the Story surrounds its conflicts and wars.
But anyway, this "Story" was something I created over the course of a decade (and is still nowhere near finished) and is what I have long considered my "penultimate" story, but as there are certain parts of the Story I would rather tweak and change, but would require immense amounts of work and time to do, it is why I've put it on hold now for the past half a year or so now. Another reason is simply because I'm wanting to create some other worlds besides the Story.
I still struggle with trying to explain the Story correctly despite how massive its influence has been for me over the years, so I didn't explain much at all. I've built up several different nations, peoples, worlds, wars, and events within the Story so much that it'd be already be pretty hard to describe it all. Even this little bit is what I'd consider a "summary" of it (though much of this post does feel a bit redundant, but oh well).
Of course, this whole thing is not anywhere near related to Touhou, save for how Touhou has recreated my creativity as the Story once did.
Despite it not being as important to me as it once was, I always seem to have a way of finding my way back to the Story as well, so it is almost assured I'll come back to it later.

You can ask me some questions about the Story and my relations to it (as long as I can answer them that is), but I will keep quiet about certain things regarding it as many parts still remain unfinished. Also, as much of the Story reflects my beliefs not just as a Christian, but in many different ways too, you have to understand that I consider certain parts to be somewhat "sacred" in regards to them, but I am open to some criticism (unless it is in regards to my faith) and I can find my ways of explaining the answers to certain things about it better than I used to (my younger self remained very close-knit with the Story, so I was very protective of it, but now I a bit more lax with it).

I'll probably come back to this later to explain more about the Story's "opening" and one of the most crucial events within it's history, alongside naming some of the "Chapter" names of the hypothetical books of the series.

Of course, whether I'll answer questions or add more things to this just depends on how I feel later and my mood. So, just be prepared for not always receiving a straight answer.
I also may delete this post later if this doesn't receive much attention (or if this receives too much attention). (Well, assuming you can delete post threads, that is.)

You really should write a book man.
With a good portion of cultural references and a meaningful plot this may be a really cool story or maybe even sorta tabletop wargame if you'd like it.

Well, writing books about this is what I've always thought about and have intended to do with it. Though tbh, I didn't expect for you guys to be so positive about it.

Also I thought Sateri is just Satori with an E :RemiSob:
Lol. The name Sateri predates my introduction to Touhou by at least 5 or 6 years.

This story has great potential to become a manga:KoishiSip:
I do intend to write books about it. Though my further ambitions for it have always been to adapt the Story into movies, tv shows, and games.

Start with books. Movies and games are often adaptations of books you know, and also it's a thing you can do without learning special skills or even spending money. The majority of modern books is shit because of that though

I forgot to mention about how the Great Sun is at the center of the Galaxy, so it functions much the same role as a black hole does in other galaxies. Surrounding the Great Sun's sphere of influence is a place know as the "Realm of Great Sun" and is home to dense amounts of worlds and stars and has been one of the major hubs of the intersecting Galactic Nations for millennia. Regardless, the Great Sun itself, on account of how alien it is, is most often avoided by spacefarers, but even still, it will be the site of countless brutal battles, and one in particular will be one of the most important battles in the Story's "opening". Legends say that the Great Sun is an "incarnation" of the Lord God Himself.

That is the intent. Besides the Touhou fangames if I can figure out how to make them someday, then pretty much all of my stories will start out as books. I always had the ambition of "revolutionizing" modern storytelling with the Story like how J. R. R. Tolkien (who has been one of my main inspirations alongside C. S. Lewis) or other authors and filmmakers have done before.

Well, if it's the Story, it very well could do so, as long as I write it correctly.

I think I will try talking about the "opening" a bit later today (once I feel more awake). The "Chapter" that this opening is called is referred to as "The Moving Fates of the Galaxies", as a result of the political turmoil and subsequent conflicts changing history forever. The title is also a double-entendre with it referring to the main antagonist of this "opening" being Evarka Fate himself.

Another thing to add is the overall timeline of the Story, along with some backstory, with right now it corresponding roughly to our time, though as this timeline (particularly it's immense length) is the main reason I haven't been doing much with the Story lately, then I will have to think deeper about how it will be, but for now, I will tell the events according to the timeline. The calendar is known as the "B.D.W./A.D.W." calandar, and refers to the "Darker's/Dahkeigan's War", but not towards it's end, but it's beginning. The Darker's War lasted from 0 B.D.W. to 1860 A.D.W., and is the crucial war for developing the subsequent events related to the Story later in "The Moving Fates of the Galaxies" and for being a "brief" preview of the Story's future events and conflicts.

What's the exact thing you consider revolutional in your project?

What's the exact thing you consider revolutional in your project?
Mainly in regards to the depth of it and how it's based on a Biblical worldview. Also with regards to the way the Story's "world" is. Though I guess "revolutionary" just depends on how it goes. I have a lot of ambitions with the Story, but I'll have to make sure to keep much of those ambitions more controlled.

Very interesting I want to compliment you on the names they sound very alien and not like from this world
Good job on that
Also good luck on making it
I hope it goes well

I will add one thing and get this out of the way in that I have a lot of past mistakes in regards to the Story (and is one of the main reasons I put it behind me for a long while).
The most damning is that I used to genuinely believe the Story to be "real" (and that can be seen in some of my past YouTube comments and old Reddit account). But now, I've put that stuff behind me and just appreciate the Story as a story as a whole. Now, of course it'd seem strange to most of you (especially for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about), but I can assure everyone that I have put that stuff behind me. Just please make sure to not judge the current me (who is now far more level-headed and rational than I used to be) from the mistakes and sins of the past childish me.

Well, while it took longer than I expected, I will try to explain about it now. Still, there is first some backstory.
Among the Galactic Nations, the three most powerful are the United Star Systems of the Sateri (USSS), Eastern Interstellar Federation of United Worlds (EIFUW) and the Great Sun Republic. Following the conclusion of an ancient war variously referred to as the "Early Darker's War" or the "Dark Crisis" of the 900s to 700s B.D.W., the USSS declined in power, and the Great Sun Republic rose to higher prominence. Throughout the Darker's War, the Great Sun Republic still remained powerful, but after the conclusion of the Darker's War, beginning in the 1870s A.D.W., the Great Sun Republic became plauged for over 30 years of successionist movements and more nefarious political and societal instability. Ultimately, the Great Sun Republic turned out victorious, but at the cost of some of its power, and the further impact of its society began to become much more grave. Over 150 years later, various successionist movements sprung up once more aided by pirates and mercenaries, but also a much darker force behind the scenes. This conflict would last from 2075 A.D.W. to 2175 A.D.W. and would become known as the "Great Pirate Wars".
Following the end of the Great Pirate Wars, the USSS once more began rising back to power, but centuries later, it would find itself in it's own problems...
Throughout the late 2500s to mid 2600s, a powerful force of evil Sateri began conspiring to create their own independent "socialist" state, and so, led by a Sateri man known as Shivarzu Estrei Matsayarnu, the "Blood Stained Stars of the Sateri Revolution" incident began in 2676 A.D.W. and culminated in 2679 A.D.W. with the creation of the "Independent Sateri Revolutionary State" or otherwise known as the "Independent Sateri Kingdom" by the USSS as a result of the ISRS/ISK having kidnapped one of the young princes of the Sateri Royal Family and made him a "mock ruler". This then led to the devastating and bloody 40-year Sateri Civil War, the worst Sateri Civil war since the overthrow of the ancient Galactic Sateri Kingdom over 3,000 years ago. And so, from 2679 A.D.W. until 2721 A.D.W., the USSS fought against the evil state, but the USSS's armed forces and government and their overconfidence and underestimation led to the ISK becoming fully independent and the USSS being forced to recognize it as the "Unified Star Systems of the Independent Sateri Revolutionary State". Though a few years later, the USSS would launch a short war to reclaim it's third capital world (of which the USSS has three, the other two being Caternga Saunde, the ancestral world of the Sateri, and seat of the Sateri Royal Family, and Senituria, the main capital and seat of the Sateri Presidency) of Seni'Blongei (Seni'Blongei being the seat of the Sateri Prime Ministry) which the ISK had held throughout much of the Civil War.
Now, a darker hand in this conflict had gained a puppet of his own to use later on.

The Great Sun Republic had now for centuries begun to fall further and further into degeneracy but so too had most of the other Galactic Nations. And by the late 2880s, the Great Sun Republic had become dominated by vast business conglomerates. Beginning in the early 2910s, a political movement in the Great Sun Republic known as the "Voegoutaists" (Voegouta meaning "Black Night Star" in an ancient Darker tongue) began to rise led by a mysterious older man named "Eklipsis Serzante". Their aims were to gain greater military and government power and to create a "New Order" where the religious institutions of the past would be erased (particularly of those related to the Lord God). In the elections of 2923 A.D.W., a man named Resalis Grumor won for the seat of the Grand Chancellor (the highest government of the Great Sun Republic) against Eklipsis Serzante and he would continue to seat in office until 2940 A.D.W. In the elections of 2940 A.D.W., Eklipsis Serzante would once more run for election, and in a move which would later prove to be a path to destruction, Resalis decided to support Eklipsis. And so, Eklipsis won the election, and a year later, he proclaimed that the flag, national anthem, and national symbols of the Republic would be changed for the first time in over 5,000 years. Over a course of several years, Eklipsis began to gain more power. It was then that Resalis began to see the sins of what he had done, but not long after, he died under mysterious circumstances in 2942 A.D.W. In February of 2945, for the first time since the Great Pirate Wars, the Darkers once again appeared themselves and launched a campaign known as the "Darker Crisis". But, 2 years later, in 2947, the Darkers mysteriously disappeared once more. Eklipsis then proclaimed that in order to help protect the Great Sun Republic, he'd need to have greater power, and so, the government legislation then gave him greater powers and greater control over the military. Over the next 6 years, he had gained more power and exploited the conglomerates while publicly condemning them. Beginning in 2952, the first successionist crisis in a thousand years began. 3 years later in November of 2955, the Great Sun Republic proclaimed that the neutral Zavula Confederacy was supplying these movements, and so, in an act of aggression, the Great Sun Republic swiftly invaded and annexed the Confederacy. This sparked a chain reaction which caused various Galactic Nations who relied on the Zavula Confederacy and the Great Sun Republic to declare war on each other and with the Great Sun Republic itself declaring war on the other nations whom it claimed were also supplying the successionist movements. This ultimately started the 11-year war known as the "Successionist Wars" or the "Upheaval War". At the end of the conflict in 2967, the Great Sun Republic proved to not become weaker, but in fact stronger. On May 19, 2967, Eklipsis announced that in order to protect order and security, that he would make himself "Emperor" and transform the Great Sun Republic into the Intergalactic Voegouta Empire. The business conglomerates who also supported him were ultimately betrayed and absorbed directly into the government and the last remaining members of the successionist movements were crushed. But, this brought about a much darker work beginning to take shape later considered to be one of the worst genocides up to that point in history...
