Now about the plot. I finally figured out how to structure and put it so it will be easier to understand.
The cycle:
Cycle is built on the powers of Yukari, Kaguya and the Sirin bird from Slavic mythology. Yukari erased the time border between December 31 and January 1, making it one, Kaguya puts a countless amount of instants in that day, and cycles it, so a day can be endless. That said, at 12am day rolls back to the first instant by Kaguya's control. And the Sirin bird just makes everyone in Gensokyo forget about that day by her singing. The only ones who remembers all what happened is Sirin themself, Yukari, Kaguya, Patchouli and Reimu.
Endings:
Didn't made up much. Ending A is about Reimu defeating Sirin, thinking that they are the culprit behind the incident. But nothing changes. People seeing that they are trapped in time slowly begin to lost their minds. Sunyata is spreading.
Ending B: To reach it player have to collect fragments of memories, but not improve relationships with characters. In that ending Reimu will find out about nature of fragments and why Reimu remembers all what happens.
Ending C will tell about Patchouli's library and it's place in plot. How it works, why it works, etc. I didn't made up it well.
Brand new character: Akasha, yokai of Sunyata. In Gensokyo, Akasha is perceived as a paradox: she exists, but her nature negates existence itself. She is not a villain in the traditional sense, but rather acts as a force of nature, seeking to dissolve the boundaries, magic, and faith that sustain Gensokyo. Akasha believes Gensokyo is an illusion that limits the true nature of reality. It seeks to "liberate" its inhabitants by dissolving them into a void where there is no suffering, but also no individuality. However, her philosophy is warped by her chaotic birth, and she doesn't understand that Gensokyo exists through faith and magic. Over the course of the story, Reimu and the other characters can either defeat her or convince her to become part of Gensokyo, where her emptiness will become an element of balance, like other yokai. Perhaps a distorted version could play upon starting a new save file and progressively grow more and more clear as time goes on. Or the opposite. Maybe it could work something like Rain World where you can find fragments of said firework festival through certain means. Any one of these could work.

Interesting. Obviously Yukari's grand scheme would be to integrate Akasha via Reimu talking some sense into her (As is common for touhou project). Considering the use of dream mechanics, maybe Doreymi would be one of the first people to figure out and inform Reimu as to what is going on? I don't know, the lore around the dream world is weird.
As for Patchi, maybe it would have something to do with her also in a cycle of discovering the intentions of Akasha, trying to deal with it, and getting memory wiped by Yukarui. No idea.

interesting character for a the antagonist to be a being of nothingness yet still having enough fucks to actually force her "nature" to others. im wondering what you meant by distorted understanding of shunyata, maybe it is implying theres a fundamental part of her nature that she misunderstood? from what little i remember about buddhism a lot of the concepts from there are "its all in your mind bro" type of stuff so maybe she mistook nothingness too literally? maybe she thought that nothingness is the default state of reality?

Alright, here's my input on how to get Patchi involved:
On the day the incident starts, an odd, purple haired girl wearing an unusual, western dress who reminds people distinctly of lavenders appears in the Hakurei shrine. She remembers nothing, neither how she got to Gensokyo, nor her life before appearing in Gensokyo. She doesn't even remember her own name. and Yukari doesn't even remember spiriting her away to Gensokyo. For all intents and purposes she just appeared at the Hakurei Shrine one day. What is most peculiar is that she seems to be aware of the time loop Gensokyo finds itself in, along with Reimu. Together Reimu and Lavender (who got her name from the flowers she reminds people of) work to solve this incident. Together, they find some details for what is happening. One thing that has been bugging Reimu is the sudden disappearance of the Scarlets, all of them. Remilia, Flandre, Sakuya, Meiling, Koakuma, and Patchouli. And everyone seems to have forgotten every detail about them. The Scarlet Mist incident, Flandre stopping Yumma, Sakuya's help in stopping incidents, even the rocket they launched to go to the moon. All seemingly forgotten about along with the residents of the scarlet devil mansion. Lavender has never heard of the scarlets, but they soon find the root of the cause. Via the manipulation of Okina, they access an odd realm where the scarlet devil mansion resides. There everyone has forgotten who they were and their past, bar Koajuma who is consciously and subconsciously bound to Patchouli. As it turns out, Patchouli found out about Yukari's plan and informed the residents of the SDM. As they planned to prevent Yukari's gambit, Yukari finds out about their knowledge and arrives to wipe the minds of the SDM of Akash/Sirin, this is an issue as while Patchouli was planning to cast a spell that shields the user and recipient from memory wipes, it is unfinished. Ultimately Patchouli is forced to cast an unfinished spell as Yukari is trying to wipe her mind, resulting in a localized explosion that wipes the SDM and everyone in it from memory, banishing them to this new realm. Everyone in the realm is safe from Yukari's mind wipe and memory reset but as a result they lost all of their memories upon the entry of this realm. The ones at the epicenter of the blast (Yukari and Patchi) were transported back to Gensokyo, but with their memories wiped. Yukari got her memory back thanks to Ran and Chen. With this info, Reimu along with Patchouli (who is revealed to have been lavender, regaining her memories from the excursion into the SDM) use this info to procure a more optimal way to seal Akash/Sirin.
