music

Greetings, I want to start experimenting a bit with music creation in order to start making covers of songs and maybe create my own after awhile. I would like to know if any creators could help regarding this subject?  I am looking for sound fonts for FL Studio, name of instruments regarding...

Hi, can someone find me the names of these three songs? 15 dollars to who can, i rly need it, thx. song4.mp3 song3.mp3

Hey there shrine members! I was curious about what kinda of game OST do people like here, i like talking about music (although the topic does get a little out of hand at times) but that's beside the point. I've recently been listening to two OSTs the most, that being the Trepang2 and Postal...

What do you think is the best lead instrument used in touhou songs, and also give examples of it being used! Actually I'm not sure if you can respond to a poll For me I would probably go with piano, because most of my favorite themes use it (beloved tomboyish girl, alice in wonderland, etc.)...

In general, I've been interested in music for as long as I've been able to conceive humans thoughts, however, this had me wondering. What sort of music do other people like? I'm big on genres like Shoegaze (Bands like My Dead Girlfriend, Honeydip, Masudore, Kinoko Teikoku), and alternative rock...

Recently played through Mystic Square and felt like doing a cover of one of my favorite tracks.

I recreated the Prismriver Sisters' theme from PCB, Phantom Ensemble, out of Minecraft sounds. I hope you guys enjoy :)

(Tradition dictates a Star Wars reference, but I don't want to jinx it; doubles as a Mystic Square reference.) IT'S TIME! Announcing the eighth Moriya Shrine Remix Tournament! I think my previous explanation was pretty good, so I'm just going adjust it slighty: Enrollment will be open for...

Obviously I mean for you personally since it is a subjective thing after all. No surprise at all that my list is very heavily influenced by my love of Wandering Souls, the very first time I ever heard a lot of these tunes. (^_^) My favourite Touhou tracks are as follows:- 01. Onigashima in the...

I recreated Septette for the Dead Princess from all Minecraft sounds! Hope you enjoy :)

It has been the standard approximated two-and-a-half months: the time has come for another remix tournament! As usual, submissions will be open for the next sevenish days. Each participant shall submit three remixes via Messages. The tournament itself shall consist of rounds of three remixes...

Got a (sadly vague) question for you guys. I've been trawling through Touhou remixes recently on YouTube (trying to clean up my Touhou Remix playlist) and stumbled across a song. I think it was of Suika, and I know there was a ticking clock alongside gentle background music. I can't remember...

New Years resolution:  I'll try to do more stuff here.  Including more games, but let's start with this.  It may or may not be a good time to start, but if not, we'll hold off. This is essentially a game of sharing and rating music remixes that we have found.  It's not really much of a...

As foretold, a new remix tournament right on the heels of the last, to take advantage of the time of season!  We seek out the songs that show the Halloween Spirit! So yeah, another Remix Tournament, but this time with another special restriction: in some way, these pieces should be related to...

The remix tournament has returned.  Sorry that I clearly let too much time pass between these. This is essentially a game of sharing and rating music remixes that we have found.  It's not really much of a competition, and there's not really much of a prize in the end, so don't worry about...

So i saw we already have subforum with odd music discoveries and Touhou music discoveries as well so i decided to make topic where you all can share ALL music you found, like (as long as it doesnt violate rules or something lol) And because i started topic i guess im also gonna post first song...

just a topic where ya post Strange, Unique and even Questionable musics. as long as it enjoyable at least. not limited to Touhou. so ya can post anything you like.

I've very much enjoyed contributing to the Other Game Music thread, and I'd like to start doing something similar with Touhou related music. This thread will be for the sharing of musical discoveries made in the Touhou fandom, whether they be remixes or original works in the style of Touhou...

I've been making Touhou music out of Minecraft sounds, just wanted people's thoughts on them. I know it's a bit memey/cringey but I still try to make them sound good.  Also wondering if anyone has any ideas for other good Touhou music to do, or even doing a different type of remix. Flowering...
