I hate Toyohime

Loved it! Been challenging myself by playing on hard only. Haven't 1CCed it yet but I love the shot type gimmick in this game! There are so many combos you can try and I love the OST. Im happy the danmaku isn't as "simple" as Touhou 19 so that's great too!

I love this game, i got here as soon as I remember that I was a touhou fan XD, also after completing some playthroughs, i saw that in 4th 5th and 6th stage aren't fully translated, is my problem or is thcrap problem? it doesn't matter because the game soundtrack is so nice and i will see the lore soon. Thank you very much!!!

Summer Comiket in Japan has just ended a few days ago and with that, ZUN the god has blessed us with yet another outstanding game. First of all, I love Reimu so I'm delighted to see her looking so pretty in this game! Also, her stick is getting longer as newer titles are released, as other people mentioned. There are 8 main story stones for both Reimu and Marisa which affect the dialogue and some enemies in the game. Since you can pick 1 out of 8 incident stones for the focused and unfocused shots of a character, this totals to a whopping 64 shottype combinations! I love the music in this game as always. This one has a rather chill vibe to it for the most part. Other than that, the new characters in this game are also pretty interesting. Especially that stage 5 boss which should surprise everyone. I never read the manga before but I know about the Watatsuki sisters. I managed to clear the game on Normal in about 4 hours using Reimu with the Scarlet Devil stone. In my opinion, I feel that the difficulty in this game reminds me of Touhou 15. That pyramid midboss is spamming bullets that I swear is definitely Lunatic levels of speed! I wonder how much faster will it get on harder difficulties? Anyway, as of now, I already cleared the game on normal using Reimu with Scarlet Devil and Creature Red stones. Once again, everyone hail ZUN for this excellent game! Also, thank you very much to the kind soul who uploaded this game on the same day it was released, that was seriously fast! I'm gonna be stuck playing this game for years with this many shottype combinations.

Absolute banger. Some of the best Touhou has to offer, and in many ways, mechanically and thematically, the best 20th entry a series could ask for.

Awesome game, one of the best in all Touhou, imho. A lot of shottipes, customization, cool characters and spellcards.
5 level was like: "Stop, WHERE am i?! WHO IS THE BOSS?!!!
Cant wait for language patch to understand the story.

By far the best game ZUN has made. Not as easy as Ten Desires, but not to hard as Subterranean Animism; so many characters are brought back in the endings and Toyohime being in stage 5; it blends both western and eastern (and northern due to lunarians) themes; and I got to Nareko's 3rd spell ON MY FIRST TRY.

So i just did a 1cc run with Reimu with the first red gem on easy difficulty. Stage 3 clearely was made easier than in the demo on easy difficilty which makes it more balanced for that respective difficulty (remember dying at 3rd boss in the demo). Those colored pyramids were a little anoying but rewarded resources after being defeated so it offered a nice balance overall. I enjoyed the game and i think it's a good experience. Plan to try other difficulties and gems + Marisa later. Check it out if you haven't. i think it's a good game.
