Touhou 20: Kinjoukyou - Fossilized Wonders

So I decided to try downloading it again and surprisingly: it worked. It didn't have that weird issue anymore (saying the app couldn't run, having the exe turn into a notepad file for whatever reason.....).

And I really liked it! The ost is really good, obvi not the best, but I really enjoy it and will be listening to it again. The stage backgrounds are also pretty (even though maybe some stuff in it is ai-generated it, from what I've heard, but I can't tell). Characters are good too.

Would be better if it had Seiga in it...

I also really enjoyed the spellcards and stages, even though some of had me wondering what was going on, like some of Toyohime's spellcards.

I heard the game was hard, but it felt kind of easy...? I 1cced it on my first try....

I'll try it on hard mode (or maybe even lunatic), but definitely a nice game all around.

I give it 4 stars because there's no Seiga in it (even though I know she had no chance being it, and it wouldn't make much sense for her to be in it..).

While I like the new characters (not Toyohime), and the new mechanics, this isn't really my cup of tea in terms of difficulty.

I was also having the 0xc000007b with this game and couldn't fix it last night. But today I finally fixed it by downloading "d3dx9_43.dll" and adding it to the game folder, thought I'd share in case anyone else is having the same issue.

This game will trigger the defender. This trigger is a false positive, and you should not be concerned with it. The same thing would happen if you bought it from Steam. Uh, this game kinda sucks, so.

Ran the game, seemed to be fine. Windows defender scan of the folder doesn't show anything. Seems to be the full game too. Up to you if you want to risk it but I'm good at the time of writing this.

I like the contrast between the chill extra stage and the absolutely brutal lunatic of this game.
Cons: yeah, this game is harder than LoLK. But that’s not really a con. The real downside is that the game is completely unbalanced — just look at the mid-boss pyramids. Stage 5 is ridiculous. Even the final boss has something that’s very similar to Junko’s PDH

I got to stage 4 so far and i liked it

I have been beat by FW's Normal mode for like 4 hours and,damn that's harder than UFO,LoLK and SA.
About the music,6th stage boss's BGM is kinda new but weird without zunpets,the 4th and 5th are OK to me though.
Guess what,we have an old friend on 5th stage!(And she's ruthless m8)
I'll give a 4-star rating,maybe not everyone would like my opinion.
