不人气的大狸子

Interestingly, some in the Chinese Touhou community have expressed doubts about Koishi's top ranking in the 21st Touhou Project Popularity Poll, suggesting possible vote manipulation.

Well, due to work, I probably won't have free time until October.

Alright, so besides the "p-word" as you mentioned before, what are some other grievances or criticisms Th Chinese fans have against BA and its fanbase? One of the arguments /jp/ talks about is how it only seeks to emulate only the most popular otaku stuffs from the past to cater to the comiket crowds, and doesn't have anything unique to hold to itself, whether its the gameplay or the story. (the sentiment on the chinese side is probably the same, but I just wanted to know if they said anything different)

I think Fumo has become a unique subculture community that has separated from Touhou, just like yukkuri.

Just yesterday, the civil war within the Fujian Touhou community broke out, involving THO in Fuzhou, Xiamen and Quanzhou.

Have you played TH20? This game has sparked heated discussion within the Chinese Touhou community, including, but not limited to: ZUN should retire, the danmaku design is terrible, the music is regressing, and the new characters are unremarkable.

I'll occasionally share recent hot topics within the Chinese Touhou community here.

I've been to four THO in a row in the past week and I'm feeling pretty excited right now.

Well, I can't use discord to log in to moriya shrine. Is there any way?

I came to Nanjing from Shanghai today, and plan to write an article about my thoughts on Shanghai THO tomorrow.

Tomorrow I will go to Shanghai THO, which is the largest Touhou Only exhibition in China, with about 3,000 participants. Shanghai THO has a history of 16 years and is the oldest Touhou Only exhibition in China.

Alright, I know I already asked in discord (and I know how your work isn't helping), but I still wanted to ask again:
Can Fate and Type Moon as a whole be considered more or less popular than Touhou in china as a whole? Since you know in-depth about china's acgn markets, I thought you may know, and among other "comiket dominants" (Blue Archive, Kancolle, Imas, Umamusume), these two seem to have the highest worldwide popularity outside Japan. So I just wanted to see once and for all which of the two is more popular, since people have a hard time answering that.

After lunch break at school, we played music in class. I chose to play Touhou music and successfully found two students who were fans of Touhou. It was a surprise.

Touhou Only tickets are between 7-10 USD all over China, I love the market economy.

Chinese Touhou community has had a heated discussion about TH20 in recent days. I plan to write an article to share it and introduce the largest Touhou forum in China: Baidu Tieba

I will attend the regular meeting of the Touhou community among universities in Dalian on April 13. This meeting is intended to unite the Touhou community at the university level and can be regarded as a preview of Dalian THO. In fact, if you are struggling to establish a local Touhou community, you might consider developing it within the student population (especially university students).

I will receive my custom Mamizou Fumo tomorrow (cost me about $15), thanks to Made in China, some less popular characters that don't have official Fumo can have the same status as those more popular characters.

In the QQ groups of Touhou in various regions, there is often a robot responsible for forwarding information about Touhou Only in other regions and promoting the products of the Doujin club. I think this is very cool and reflects the cohesion of the Chinese Touhou community.

TH15 was a rare pleasure for me during my stay in the hospital, I love Touhou.

Busy work will indeed erode a person's interest in Touhou.

Damn it, I just did a rough count, and in 2024, there were 90 cities in China that held Touhou offline events. It was such a surprise.
