A idea my sleep deprived brain come up with.
I initially had no interest in the contest as it's way above my skill level and I have no idea how to use a recording software, but it'd be sad to see it cancelled just like that. Now, rather then learning how to make videos in a few days, I would prefer to put that time in to figuring out how to beat the hardest difficulty with the deadline right around the corner...
I'm wondering if anyone else wants to join me on the quest to beat lunatic before the deadline? Score doesn't matter if no one can clear the game.
As for how this can be made possible? Well, here are some things that might be worth investigating:
- In other games, some spellcards have blind spots...
- TASs probably exist at this point but usually pull off tricks not viable for humans, usually.
- All those replays by skilled players, though most of them are bound to aim for a high score rather then being optimized for survival.
- Hitboxes? Since the game had to be remade from scratch, hitbox sizes must have changed, possibly giving way to 'dodges' not possible in the original.
Items:
Stage 2: Extra bomb after beating Daiyousei
W.I.P.
(The Medelin project is partially on hold till the end of the contest.)
