Your favourite and least liked/most hated PC-98 Character?

Touhou 2 is imo the weakest game in the pc-98 era. Since it is the first full Danmaku game in the series, it feels the most barebones out of them. Primarily bullet patterns not being that interesting, also being the only traditional danmaku game without a focus system, early stage characters not being as memorable as characters that appear in later pc-98 entries. and also having the weakest soundtrack to the point that it is the only pc-98 soundtrack i don't have saved.

I don't hate it but i think it is the weakest in the pc-98 era games.

Well, the Stage 1 theme of SoEW is personally one of my favorite themes from PC-98 Touhou.
But, I do agree that it's probably the "weakest" of the PC-98 games.

Well, I do agree with some of the best PC-98 Touhou themes being in the 4th and 5th games. Some of my personal favorites from those games are Alice Maestra, Bad Apple (yes, it's just too good to not like), The Last Judgement, World's End, and Infinite Being (Shinki's theme).

Touhou 2 characters are less niche than Touhou 4 or 5 characters tho, or atleast in terms of how often are they mentioned

I know my favorite from that game is Maple Dream. Hands down, and it's pretty hard for me to pick my "favorite" Touhou themes.
But, Maple Dream has got to have one of the most beautiful melodies ZUN's ever created. And that is REALLY saying something.

I know! But i did state it in terms of my personal opinion of it than what the community thought of it. The characters in it are less memorable to me than characters that appear later in the pc-98 era. (excluding reoccuring characters like Marisa and Mima)
