Yesss.. EERIE and the MANHUNT mod go surprisingly well together. The story would have starred Label girl being brought out by Yukari to save Gensokyo and such.

The usual factions of Gensokyo would have had unique relations and distinctive looks (similar to how STALKER is lol).

Maybe someday ill revisit it..? I remember making assets for a Garry's mod roleplay XD.

That's ironic because someone commissioned the E.E.R.I.E. version of Ringo to be a player model and another person made a tactical Rumia player model on a whim. As niche as it sounds, maybe militaristic versions of Touhou characters will catch on.

I've been sitting on this for a while, but I thought I'd post about this anyway, if only to bring some awareness to the Touhou community on Garry's Mod.

The mod I'm referring to is a campaign mod called Hunt Down the Reimu. The name is a reference to Hunt Down the Freeman, which has been considered the worst Half-Life 2 mod the community had ever seen.
Across two campaigns (individual maps) the player has to hunt down Reimu, who joined the Combine for some reason.
The gameplay is your standard FPS gameplay. Nothing special, but the modder did a phenomenal job.
The story is still incomplete as of now, but I hope more will be added to it soon.

The mod comes with two full campaign maps and a pair of prototype maps (one of which is a Sakuya boss fight).
You can find the mod in the map section of the gmod workshop on Steam.
 
I love seeing mod creativity pop up anywhere, so your thread hit home. I mess around with MCPE mods too, and grabbing stuff from https://modscraft.net/en/mods/ has actually given me a bunch of ideas for Touhou-themed mechanics and enemy behavior. Sometimes a good Minecraft addon sparks a fun crossover concept. If you ever want fresh angles for custom spellcards or mob patterns, it’s a surprisingly fun place to poke around.
