Touhou Mods Thread



I just discovered this Touhou mod for Plants vs. Zombies 2. For those who don't know, Plants vs. Zombies pits the player and their arsenal of plants against hordes of zombies. The goal is to strategically pick the plants to use and wear down the horde as they approach your house.
The Touhou mod appears to be a part of a larger pair of mods that add new plants, zones and zombies.
The mod's zone takes place in the Lunar Rainbow Market, where the player helps Chimata resolve an incident where the market is being invaded by maid zombies serving tea.
 


Touhou mod for World Conqueror 4. It adds Touhou characters that can be recruited as generals for the player's faction and changes some of the faction flags.

The Touhou mod for Manhunt 2!!!!!!

Haven't posted on this site in a hot minute, and I'm not sure if this was mentioned yet... but here's my absolute favorite Touhou mod, for Manhunt 2 of all games. A mod that replaces all of the character models, a ton of sounds, some textures, and even cutscenes to be Touhou themed. The creator even went as far as making some lore for it (even if its... kind of silly LOL).

I adore this mod, and if wasn't so lazy, I would have written a fanfic based on this (mixed with E.E.R.I.E. ofc).

Manhunt 2 is free on MyAbandonware.com, since rockstar basically left that game for dead sadly. So playing this mod is easy as pie!! Honest!!

There is also a mod by the same creator for Manhunt 1? but Manhunt 1 is not free, and I've never played it... so.. shrug.

I didn't realize that the mod went above and beyond like that.
Based on what was shown in the trailer, I could tell a lot of effort went into making it as Touhou themed as possible.
I'll have to check out Manhunt 2 with the mod installed when I get the chance.

A fanfic based on E.E.R.I.E. and Manhunt you say?
Hmm...sounds interesting.
I'm tempted to try my hand at it.
