What is your favourite mod from thcrap? (Translations not included)
For those who never gave a damn about the thcrap folder or never noticed it therefore dont know what it is, the .exe file in the folder gives you list of translations and mods you can use to modify the touhou game the mod is compatible with.

For me personally, best mod is auto-bomb, where it deathbombs automaticly because i have skill issue and for as long as im not good at dodging i will use this while getting to know the lore while having fun playing dodging barrages of bullets i am capable of dodging (and i prefer this over playing on easy)
 
I haven't played around with Thcrap mods (mainly because I wouldn't know how to install them and I'd be worried about messing things up) though I'd definitely like the mods which add more playable characters to the games. Though that one Fazun sent for MoF looks fun and hilarious!

They don't really add any extra characters, but there are mods that replace existing ones, yea

Don't worry, it's easy to use, you have list of mods and all you need to do is click them twice then (or an arrow that pops up after you move mouse to certain mod) click next.

And dont worry about messing anything up, thcrap will create a patched .exe file you can use to play modded game that is separated from the original game file while still sharing same data.

Unfortunately, I don't really understand much of that. Computer coding is one of the few things I just cannot understand no matter how seemingly "simple" it is. I mean, that could change for me in the future, but for now, my brain just fries when trying to figure out stuff like that. Mainly because I unconsciously panic with it as a result of not understanding it much at all and from me worrying I'll mess something up as it's happened before.

Though much of what I don't understand is where those go in the first place. I took a minute to reread what you said, and I can understand much of it, but I'm not sure where the files would be.

the files are in the thcrap folder, and the patched game file will be in one of the 4 options you choose after patching the game
 
i've messed around with them before, i thought that sanae touhou 15 one was funny.

but the ones that i actually use and are my favorites would be the one that uses the classic continue system for th10-12 (i would never be motivated to try and 1cc them otherwise) and the th08 alice bitch one.

honorable mention: last time i checked it wasn't finished, but someone has tried to make a fangame based off a fanmade album called champaign of unfinished dreams. when i played it i liked it, although it wasn't finished so that was a bummer. maybe they have made more progress on it now.
 
the punjabi mod, yes i know translations are not included but it's so fucking funny because i speak urdu and it's the pakistan punjabi to be exact
 
Hmm, I think that I like DDDDDDDDDDDD and this mod (it is better to play it without spoilers). LoDDK, epro, subhatred_en, fullhouse and "Mystia's WBaWC Adventure" patches are nice too. Legacy of Lunatic Code was also interesting. I didn't play ultrastory much, but I remember it had some some interesting moments too. There are more good patches but those are the first ones to come to mind.

Update: I also remembered awesome umalt patch. I recommend to play it too.
