[WIP] Pocket Mate — a mobile pet game where Touhou characters live on your phone

Hi all! I've been working on a small mobile pet game called Pocket Mate, and I thought this would be a nice place to share progress as it goes.

The idea is pretty simple: a Touhou character lives on your phone. They wander around your home screen, react when you tap them, and inside the app there's a care menu where you look after them.

First one up is Tsukasa:


Chen, Aya and Tewi are also in progress. I'll add them to this thread as updates instead of starting new threads.

It's still early and a lot will change, but I'd love to hear what you think. Also, who would you want living on your phone next?

Would you be able to add Letty, Orin, and maybe the Three Fairies (Sunny, Luna, and Star) to the mix?
Also, I love this idea! I've seen one (and I had it before) for a desktop version of this sort of thing, so a mobile one would be pretty cool!

For a while i though the pet was made with nothing but AI since the artstyle is similiar and the animations at first had low FPS
