Where did your username come from?

My username is my character! I made Lavvie on my first semester of college. Before then I had a previous character that didn't fit me anymore. She had a good run, 2014 to 2021 or so. Lavvie symbolizes embracing myself and my quirks more, so she means a ton to me. I adore my silly purple fox!

 
I used to go by Youmu Eulogy for a bit a very long time ago. Got into Touhou via Soku and played Youmu a ton. Added "Eulogy" to it because it sounded thematically fitting for a half-phantom, and was kind of a joke to myself that my youtube channel was dead or something.

Current name is derived from that, but wanted to go more general-use than relating it to one character.

 
My name comes from a cat I used to have. He was a really sweet cat and had a really high-pitched meow. He has fluffy orange-and-white fur. He unfortunately went missing and I was never able to find him. I still miss him to this very day.  

 
I headcanon Takane as a secret commie guerilla. "Ka", is an abbreviation of "kasama", which is Tagalog for "comrade". Basically my display name here is a parody of Filipino Maoists :P

 
that's a good question xd. Firstly, Dexter is a name that I like and (for me) it sounds like you cannot say it's male or female xd.

Also, when I was younger I was a little obsessed with Germany xd, so I created a surname that can sound german(?

Wein is wine in german lol

 
I have a bit of an odd story behind my name.

It was a cold night in 2021 and I was completely alone in my room, I didn't have any friends due to me disconnecting myself from people after some traumatic events that happened during that year, I disparately wanted to talk to someone so I decided to look up sites that I can instantly message people, I don't remember what site it was but as far as I know it was anonymous. I've thought about making a name that sounded edgy and gothic while being reminiscent of the old days of the internet, so I settled with my current username: TheM3ds.

Fun fact about my username name: it was inspired by one of my favorite bands The Cure.

My username is a portmanteau of Yume Nikki, my favorite game, and Touhou. Ironically, both games were major fixtures on  4Chan and our Onee-2Chan, so it seemed a good name to go with. Both games are seen as cultural touchstones of the Japanese internet, so there is some overlap in the fandoms as well. Including some cool fanart.

I used to be star wars legends fan and so I named by self after the pentastar alignment, my favorite imperial successor state   

 
Mine is pretty dumb tbh. I kept hearing "Korosu"  in anime and knew it translated to "kill" or "to kill". Thought it was a cool sounding word and at the time I didn't bother looking up the proper way of spelling it and instead spelled it how I thought it was pronounced but since the name "Koros" was taken I just added another one, hence my username.

nothing special, the first part comes from the fact that I like the cool rabbit girl and the numbers... well, when I created this account, the latest touhou game I played was touhou 17, but even since I played later titles, I decided to keep it because funny.

 
My username comes from my original self-insert character. Or rather, the first name I decided to use consistently for said character. I even have her appearance internalized, should you want to know it for some reason.
Earlier versions had alternating versions of references to Sakuya Izayoi, minus the... you know. Not exactly in the mood to die today.
Nyoko Hakui was her full name, simply because it sounded Japanese enough to work. Just to note, all my accounts have the last name Hakui attached to it, which would mean that for some accounts the name is literally 'Hakui Hakui'...
Naming people that appear in my hyperactive and nearly impossible to shut down fantasy has since become a pastime for me.
Like, who the hell comes up with Fueren Ayasei for a name, or Lukas Mannschryft for that matter?

 
mine came from the journalists [from yandere sim.i hate yandere sim and yandev btw i just think the journalist is intresting and hes a huge comfort chara and hyperfixiation for me] wife. who is dead. ​

i think his wife is such a kind and cool woman so i set her as my username <3​

Well's mine's is literally not as far as interesting for spanish people but:

When i was like 9 or 10, i wanted to be a Youtuber using a voice synthesizer (Known as "Loquendo", pretty popular in hispanic and a bit italian too), after lots of unoriginal names, i got "NicoMario70" because i liked how it sounded like in spanish and I personally don't like to be referred as a nickname, Mario due... duh it was my fav franchise at the time then and 7 is my favorite number, i got onto the Countryballs comunity and then i created the first """OC"""(at the time idk that i just created a oc during those years) ever which represented me during 2018:

So yeah, basically imagine there is a Country where his flag is literally a RANDOM MARIO PNG IN A BLACK BACKGROUND and there is a Ball of that... how hilarious and cringe was that

Ok but back to the original purpose, Remember when i said i was gonna to be a Ytuber with it?. It of course failed but i liked to be refered as that name and the OC image.

Then i got into Discord and there is not much to say, other than at the time i created an OC named "Shurinoku" I put her as my PFP and during August-October?(maybe) i was known as "Shurinoku San"(Fortunately, the last cringe thing probably).

But everything Changed in Someday December 2021, I decided to do two things, Change my OC design to this:

Yep, my actual persona now at days, BUT More importantly my nickname... "NM7 (Nico)", just a abbreviation of my past name, however is more easy to remember and my actual name is on this too; as i said, because i dont like to refered with a nickname.

I still use that name in Youtube for example, so were "Netsumu" comes from? Short awnser, it's a japanese play of words of "Internet" and "Seven" , i decided to use that name mostly on Non hispanic communities outside my mother language (except the Bomberman community).

And there is me... Not expected to be that long but here we go.

 
koakumas bc koakuma and add the s for some reason but about my other name, toukito (トウキト) is a little more simpler

i thought the kito sounded like a cute name when making my japanese personality/identity if i ever went to japan. a day later, before i originally put the name out for public, i added the tou from touhou and i got what i have today (no i never went to japan irl :( )
