Glad you're not doing that then. Most people who are into politics just say (rEpUbLiCaNs ArE eViL) just ad nauseum. Even if they aren't from America. Still don't exactly agree with either side though. Anyway, I'm still someone who has more monarchist sentiments myself, so that is at least one reason I'm probably going to withdraw from voting eventually. Republican governments can just be too chaotic to me...
Though I'd rather you keep your own thoughts to yourself on that, if you would please.
Anyway, I feel like Gensokyo's form of "government" is pretty good to myself too though. lol

I'm pretty sure 50% of 'em are bots and a part is just doing their job. The gouvernments do anything to divide the society in two perfect slices, right?

On a little side tangent, I'm not interested in TF2, but I find crossovers between Touhou and TF2 to often be the height of hilarity! I became aware of that game in the first place because of Touhou.
Just said all that because I think that picture is an image of spy from that game.

Pretty sure they do. Touhou is a fandom which is split between rude degenerate fools and the kindest people you'd ever meet. So it's basically an exception.

Though Touhou is about the only fandom of a series I like which I interact with. I guess a partial exception is with Higurashi's fandom (Higurashi is among my favorite Japanese series aside from Touhou, though unlike Touhou, Higurashi is horror).

Any fandom is different. I don't like the tendency of creating imaginable groups such as boomers/zoomers/alphas or fans of lotr/warhammer/whatever. Go to reddit and you see ones, go to xitter and you see other others. Fans of the most savage shit may be interesting and approachable. What I do is mostly avoiding centralised active communities ("a server of XXX fans") because it's always porn, nazism, wokeism or all of the above.

Absolutely right! It always seems to be that way. If you stay in the shadowy and more tight-knit areas, then you most often find the good people.

I've interacted with lots of different touhou communities and I don't want to go back at all. At some point I started feeling disgust even. You just have to choose places carefully

Pretty sure I would agree. Though I'm really content with just staying in Moriya's community. As I said, most people here are pretty nice, if sometimes a bit foul with language.

Moriya is kind of inactive place. See, we may write gigantic pamphlets of our theories or whatever and nobody would bother us. That's the real advantage

Despite it having some... "interesting" characters, it often seems like the old internet was a better place. At the very least, it was a much more light-hearted and fun place. Not to mention more mysterious.

You often see that with comments and forums of old Touhou works. At the very least, the old internet was much more creative.

There's just too many people obsessed with dumb things like politics, ideologies and questions of morality online now. Just what is their fucking point. And of course tons of them bots.
