What Touhou character do you consider to be underrepresented?

Mimi-Chan we could use more of the sentient female intercontinental ballistic missile in the Touhou series

A couple of PC-98 characters, specifically Konngara and Sariel(all the information we have on them can literally be summed up in 1 sentence...maybe even 1 phrase lmao), and maybe PC-98 Reimu herself as she was literally a murderhobo in early Touhou lol.

Thing is that many PC-98 characters (and a number of them in Windows era as well) are lacking even a basic Omake text. I think something that might be relevant would be the tier list made by AspreyFM based on the Omake for each character and how much it provides about the character, worldbuilding or both. I am not sure if there is an image version of the list, but I will link the final part of the series (he streamed it every Saturday for a few weeks until completing the sorting).



If I get a bot of time (or maybe a bit more), I could try to reverse-engineer the tier list and provide it in here as well.

Don't ask me, ask Asprey. I think he justified it during the livestream (the tier list has been done live, once every week for 5 weeks). I think he justified it that Nitori got more personality in the written works, and he did not really count those? (Asprey also said he is not going to check out CDS or Lotus Eaters until those two series are complete, so it might take a while). Also again, this tier list is entirely based on game Omake texts. Not really anything from outside the games.

This also provides some insight into the progression of Touhou games, at first they were pretty much just barebones, as long as there was a solid game with a simple and understandable plot, it was already good to go, no further details needed, but as the games progressed ZUN also began building his own intricate universe with complete with back stories, mysteries, context, lore, and much more. Also I remember reading something about ZUN being a Shin Megami Tensei fan, so Sariel basically being an SMT boss ripped straight from Nocturne or something, and plopped right into Touhou as the final boss makes sense to me. 

Just take a look at SMT Lucifer and Metatron, and compare them to Sariel.

I even heard that Shinki is straight up supposed to be a reference to SMT Lucifer, so if everything else has a Touhou reference in it, then Touhou instead has an SMT reference in it lol, and later on as I've said Touhou evolved more into it's own thing with characters and the background becoming more and more fleshed out and original. View attachment 2802
