Touhou 7 Full Screen Issue

My issue with Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom is that when i downloaded Touhou 7 and when I opened up the game and I go to settings and put the screen in full screen my game crashes and I don't even know what to do if you know the solution to this problem thanks
