Touhou 18.5 Announced

Touhou 18.5 ~ 100th Black Market has been announced for release on August 14th. Wow, Marisa looks really good on that title screen! Finally out of Reimu's shadow, huh - can't wait to see what she gets up to.

Since this is a spinoff, I'm not sure exactly how the gameplay works in this one, but it's a follow up to Unconnected Marketeers and sees the return of ability cards in what seems to be a more complex system. Also, Eternity Larva is in one of the screenshots. Just when I was talking of how the Touhou 16 characters need some more appearances... very nice! Although, I suppose it might be like the photography games where they don't really have any dialogue. Regardless I'll still be happy to see them and find out how this interesting gameplay works.

As far as I know, it's going to have randomized patterns and bosses, with waves of attacks, and after each attack, you'll get a card? At least that's how I got it.

Very interesting since 18 already had a small doze of roguelike considering how card system works if this is true then it seems that they took it even further here and no run will be the same, i'm definitely looking forward to this (though i'm just waiting for C100 in general so)

Oh yeah, 100th Black Market is also releasing at Comiket 100. Gotta love the subtext that Comiket is in fact a black market

 
Hmm, Marisa's finally getting a spinoff game of her own, is she? No doubt I'll catch a playthrough of it on MegamanOmega's channel like I always do. It'll have to be something particularly special for me to consider getting it myself, however. (^_~)
