Same here its coming from th15.5n.exeThat's weird. It could be a false positive.
I want to know too.Hey i'm getting a Ymacco.AABC trojan alert for th155n.exe with 42/70 detections on virustotal hash: bc762845b444abb475723a177c70c6f373aae502ee6f7c6f80e25de6117eb31c
Does anyone know if virustotal is just being silly or if theres an actual threat?
hi i have a nvidia gpu and it runs just fine how the hell does that happen to youI would like to add that I'm not convinced it's a false positive, after experiencing an issue with my Nvidia driver (Windows 11, RTX 3060 laptop), where th155n.exe seemed to cause other applications to refuse to start (including the Nvidia app). Some time after I played TH15.5, the issues started after my laptop entered sleep mode, and upon reopening I saw a windows error popup (a reference to some memory address I didn't take a screenshot). From then onward, any application that used the GPU on startup would refuse to start. The issue was resolved IMMEDIATELY after my anti-virus (BitDefender) removed 'th155n.exe'. The applications previously prevented from being opened started immediately after the file was resolved.
I'm open to the possibility that this is just a bug in the software, but either way, if my opinion matters to anyone, I would recommend people not use it if you're using an Nvidia GPU.
It doesn't have a trojan. If your antivirus is going off it's most likely a false positive from either custom.exe or the netplay patch.did i get trojan? and how do i remove it?
Good to know, i wont be running it virus or not, this NEEDS to be addressed by both the mods and by the devs. If we cant reach out to the devs then we don't need the tool.I would like to add that I'm not convinced it's a false positive, after experiencing an issue with my Nvidia driver (Windows 11, RTX 3060 laptop), where th155n.exe seemed to cause other applications to refuse to start (including the Nvidia app). If what bitter said is true then virus or not this file causes issues. Unless we actually look into the file i wont trust it.It doesn't have a trojan. If your antivirus is going off it's most likely a false positive from either custom.exe or the netplay patch.
We put some info on the about page too:
Regarding th155n.exe (netplay patch)
This executable comes up as a false positive on VirusTotal. This is normal, and expected.
You may need to add an exception for these files in your Anti-Virus to use this software.
False positives contain the text "Gen" for "generic" or "!ml" for "machine lerning" in their names, which are triggered due this software's uncommon purpose which is fixing issues within other software.
"If" I have all the official games from here on my pc and it causes no issues, I know it's word against word but we have literally no reason to spread malware on your systems. If what bitter said is true then virus or not this file causes issues. Unless we actually look into the file i wont trust it.
Replaced the old LunarCast patch for squiroll, adding more features.
I'm going to try it now with the new update. Here's to hoping everything will be fine.I can't play the game (well, in English at least), as the computer automatically deletes and isolates the English patch and I'm not sure how I'd be able to retrieve it, if I even could at all. I got this to work on my laptop before, but not on here...
