The True Buffet

I heavily consider what I want to say.
I ponder if I'm knowledgable enough on the topic.
I wonder if there are any other places I could make the question at without stirring things up.
Finally, I DON'T do anything lol why would I ever voice myself what the hell is this an alternate dimension

Real talk, guess that goes to my closest friends. Those can be argued with without any social detriments. Anyone else is subject to the rule of "if I wouldn't care, then they won't, too".

Question 39: How do you feel about people randomly shitposting during a semi-serious conversation (nothing the likes of vents, moreso people talking about stuff and then this one guy comes up and does dumb shit)?

indifferent towards it

question: if you had to get a touhou to follow you around and have them t-posing who would you pick

*cough* i wouldn't be here if i could spend whole lotta money.
It's pay to win, not impossible to win. I usually only use what i got. Loot, Rewards, or maybe even scavenged equipment. anything but paid. and having good skill instead of good items is satisfying (said by someone who doesn't have skills).

Question 41 (y'all miscounted the number. it's buggin me) : Given 10000$ what will you use it for?

I'd waste it all on a PSP to get P3 PSP I think bc FEMC

Q: What are the worst games you have played?

jokingly said life and GTA SA using no cheats or mods it felt too boring , but seriously said if i don't like a game i won't even remember it but the worst that i can actually remember was the GBA port of Tales of Phantasia. the PS1 port was ok tho

question = what console is the best console in your opinion?

Oh hell the PS2 bc Persona 4

Q:Your a phantom thief, how will you make your tactics and get the treasure inside the palace?

Not sure if I'm getting this right but... poltergeist the room until everyone runs screaming, then walk out with the prize... unless this is the persona 5 thief thing? then just walk in like I own the place, rock-paper-scissor'sing my way to the treasure, as all good RPGers know you have to clear out the rooms to get enough XP... (no I've never played a persona game, all I know is what I've seen roommates play.)

Next question:

Given the context of difficulty being split between required time investment and twitch reflexes, and the fact that by their inherent design the games that follow reduce twitch requirements as time is invested. Are Dark Souls & Monster Hunter games actually difficult?

PS: i've never played any dark souls or monhun personally so i'm going on plain assumption of the gameplay here.

going by that context games like dark souls and monster hunter are a matter of getting used to things, learning patterns, and getting the materials needed to get better equips (there could be more that i don't know). it'll take a long time to do those thing and it can get really frustrating. this is why those kinds of game are considered a hard game. but the more you got used to it the easier it gets, so pretty much if you can get used to it easily it won't be the hardest game like most of people said.

next question:

opinions on nowadays games?

Apologies I usually try to do a 2 person minimum between my posts here, but I like the question cause I get to rant about games, any y'all can'ah stop meh.

Depending on what you mean by "nowadays games" my opinion tends to go from "pretty fun & real interesting" to "I don't even understand why it's made."

In general, I find the advent of loot box & microtransaction games to be a pretty negative influence, and not for the usual "pay2win" or "gambling" relations. It has to do with the marketing methods used to encourage the in-app purchases. The easiest way to do this is to put you in competition with a player that has things you want. Some companies have literal tech docs describing the process, but on an even more general level this means a trend towards games that encourage optimization of play and long hours of investment in a multiplayer competitive-coop or vs environment. And I'm kinda sick of that level of just sheer combativeness being built into most games. There's very few titles that allow you to just relax and go through the game when you've got Max'i'minner and credyt2taem breathing down your neck or just regularly curbstomping you.

That's more the overall market trend though. There's still a bunch of amazing games coming out. I whole heartedly recommend everyone try Hades, Slay the Spire (which happens to have at least half a dozen touhou mods at this point, still growing), and Iconoclasts.  Metro: Exodus has also been a great addition to the Fallou- I mean... Metro franchise.

That's rather condensed as I have a tendency to over analyse and hyper criticize any title/trend these days, but yeah...

Q: What would it take to shake your faith enough to swap your favorite 2hu?

Uhh :after thinking for a second time:
Character theme, species, the powers they have, etc etc etc. (Honestly I think I could go on forever if I didn't put etc.)

Q:How many times can you try to 1cc lunatic Story of Eastern Wonderland without rage quitting?

uhh... i didnt count, but since lunatic is beyond my reach. i know my limits and challenging something that i know i wont be able to accomplish would be useless. so... less than 10? i usually doin in for fun while using 200% speed hack or sumthin.
but if you ask if i try to 1cc normal then... it could be whole day.

Q : What do you think about nowadays gaming community?

Nowadays gaming community has the same issues as nowadays X community. It's too broad of a category for specific complaints, but is generally a very toxic mix in aggregate. Some of this comes from the more competitive nature of the hobby, but a lot of it just comes from differing view points and echo-chambers in the communication networks. Granted, it's a lot easier to find a comfortable group given the polarization of any individual group. For the most part if you want help in a game you can find a group that will support you, but you also run the risk of being talked down to/handheld constantly, which is pretty frustrating, at least for me. The goal for a good game group in my mind is to have enough interaction/competition to egg eachother on & assist with the goals of others, but never to force people to play against their own pacing.

Q: What RPs/RP tools do you want to see on this site?

(I must say I agree with quite a bit of what you said)

Obviously, I would love to see some of the style that we had at the old forum, though that remains to be seen.  I've thought about using the forum to find/organize some D&D (or maybe Pathfinder), but I hesitate on that count (partly because I'm trying to organize one irl as well, partly because I don't know how it would go).

Question:  Do you use both the forum and the Discord?

Yeah, i guess i'm the most active in both area beside the staffs. *cough* which mostly just Maden and Torm *cough*. other than me i guess is Haruto, maybe Icey and Mirrakh as well as certain useless jutsu seller (last 3 just lurk here i guess).

Q:
what do you think about article 13? will it spread or die? will it kill the Touhou community? or even will it kill the internet itself?

Honestly, I'm worried. I read about A13 and if it does pass, It might kill the Touhou community, but seeing as it's a "meme ban," it's gonna kill social media like Reddit, considering there are several meme subreddits(r/Animemes is one I find myself seeing weekly.) I really hope it doesn't pass; I need my memes.

Question: If Article 13 does indeed pass, how do you plan to cope with it?

Drink my sorrows away honestly I don't fully understand Article 13 because I'm a noob at politics and law and stuff, but I get it enough to understand that they're banning memes and doing some other stuff that's bad for the internet. Even if it comes into effect, how would they regulate something as widespread as memes? Idk but I guess if it just kinda happens then maybe I'll organise some kind of gaming meetup thing in my local community so we can just spread our memes offline instead. INTELLIGENCE 100.

Q: Can someone plz fully explain to me what Article 13 is in a paragraph that Cirno would understand?

I drew this (9) this is my (9). You drew my (9) and wanted to share it so you gave it to Aya. Aya does a lot of things, but she also gave everyone (9)s because of you, now my (9) is merely an (8). I could tell you to stop drawing (9)s but the (9)s are now being drawn by everyone. If I threaten Aya then I can get her to stop sending (9)s and my (9) can be the strongest (9).

Q. Given 20 years of guaranteed housing, food, and general resources, what would you do?

I would be writer.  I would want to write video games, which for now is just RPGMaker, but I would probably write some short stories or fanfics as well, and music.

Honestly, not having to worry about day to day stuff would make writing easier, maybe not enough to actually make a big difference, but it would help.

Q:  Do you have a favorite Touhou fangame, and if so, what is it?

I would pick Mima's New Life because it's the only fangame I touched.

Q: Danmaku suddenly shoots out of your screen while you play Touhou, what would you do?
