wait this was probably good practice too considering what im doing for my project in art class

good morning, today is my birthday : D

if you have seen my thread for the custom soku palettes i make, then you might have seen in the most recent thread "birthday cake reisen"

with palette editor theres only so much i can really do for me to make what i was thinking of. sometimes it works out, sometimes i have to change stuff.

since my birthday happened to be coming up, why not do a redesign of birthday cake reisen without limitations? you can consider this the "true" design of her :3

i ended up adding some things like the candle tie (which was just a normal green tie originally), i guess they are kinda like frosting-decorations that you see on cake if u know what i mean on the skirt, i added arm warmers that are supposed to look like the inside of a cake if you slice it (but i REALLY wish i had it going "brown-white-brown" though... my only regret ) and the shoes looked a little too red originally so i tried making them slightly pinker... oh and i also made the inside of the ears sprinkles and the shirt polka dot but that was intended before. overall i really like how she turned out, and it really does remind of birthday cake, which happens to also be one of my favorite flavors for sweets :3

yeah so i kinda procrastinated rlly hard on athena so i started drawing reimu and tbh they both turned out very good. the reason i procrastinated so hard on athena was cause the head and face looked very goofy and i wasnt sure whether it would turn out good or not cause lowkey the bases look so goofy at first but it starts to look good when i add the hair.

this happens a lot but trust the process and it will look good in the end

oh i also forgot to make a glove so i kinda just added that last minute, same thing with reimu's hair things

im trying to shade a little better and since dark world noelle has an overall light color palette i decided to draw her
