hello
i've been recently reading higurashi. i've been interested in trying it for a while now. im reading the visual novels rather than watch the anime cause i dont really like watching gorey stuff
, but even though the vn will still have all of that content in there, its mostly just words on a screen and some background changes. sorry if it doesnt make much sense, but basically i'd rather read about a bloody room with dead bodies in it than look at a bloody room with dead bodies in it.
here is rena. even though rika right now is my favorite, i still like rena : ). maybe my second favorite

I love Higurashi! This is one of the best series of all time in my opinion, but haha I'm relate to you UltimaShojo because of I've had Umineko chapter 8 in limbo stasis for almost two years at this point out of being too lazy to try and solve bernkastel's puzzle thing. And but that's good choice you did Buwako, I'm not a queasy but I also chose into VN for reason that Originals are usually lot better than adaptations and you read at your own pace feels so peaceful immersive

a couple of days ago was the 1st anniversary of akyuu's death
akyuu is actually a really cool, and sad character. she apparently doesnt mind that her lifespan is short, but i wonder if she did when she was younger. to reincarnate again, she has to make a deal with the yama and work for her, and it can take around 100 years for the next child of miare to appear. gensokyo is quite lucky to have had one in their time period.
speaking of time period, how does the timeline work in touhou? does touhou take place in the past, present, or future? actually, its probably not in the future, since hifuu club exists, but that still leaves the past and present. and that still leaves the question "how much time passes between touhou games and manga?" aside from a couple of clothing changes, reimu looks the exact same in th20 as she did in th06. maybe shes just doomed to be 16 forever (lol). it would actually be interesting to know how old they really are, and i wanna someday see something about akyuu's death thats canon.

as you know, th20 is out.
i havent played it yet, as im waiting to get it on moriya shrine. the extra stage boss is super pretty~ her name is nina watari. lots of people compare her to sanae and i can see why. i dont know anything about her honestly, but she looks really cool and thats why i drew her.
school is starting again tomorrow, im not really excited or dreading it though. it will probably be an easy, but boring day since all that really happens on the first day is teachers introduce themselves n' stuff. at least i dont need to do much work. since my bus is picks us up first this year, this means i have to wake up an hour early now
. i'll probably draw a lot more, because classes can get boring. who knows how many i'll get to take a picture of and post though.
i look forward to playing fossilized wonders : )

i had time in history to draw a smol roomba. no full body though cause uhh maya already took up most of the page and i have to use the other side for actual work stuff lol. by the way i did have to draw this from memory since i didnt have a laptop to look up a reference. i started drawing marisa in math but i didnt finish it so chances are i will finish that tomorrow and post : )

ok srry but theres no marisa today cause i've been wanting to draw ema but i needed a reference since i dont really remember her design enough to accurately draw her. although today in english we didnt really do anything besides like a couple review tests and we had our laptops out so this was the perfect chance for me to draw her but i usually have lots of time to draw on A days so i will probably finish marisa tomorrow ♥
