List of (maybe-not-so-obvious) things that I think should change at post-migration

Since the migration happened soon I think it's easy to overlook things. Even easier to overlook stuff when you have much work to do, so take some of these as reminders instead. I'll mention things that might be obvious even though you guys asked nicely for everyone to not do so (I apologize in advance for that, but I can't know what you know and I rather say the obvious than let it slip).
I'm also aware that some of the suggestions I'll mention are very likely already planned to happen, so please don't attempt to put me into that pan with boiling water. Boil eggs instead, they are very nutritious.

So, these are my suggestions so far:
-Change the like button to be a pretty heart button like the previous website (or something better) instead of
-As for now, I cannot use any Touhou emojis while writing anything here (and chatroom as well). I don't know how anything works to be sure if it's a "me" problem or not;
-More reaction options would be good. Apparently we have only 5 as I write this post, and they are oversized compared to the current like button (again, maybe a "me" issue);
-Make the Moriya Bot in the chatroom stop saying whenever someone enters or leaves the chatroom, it can spam rather quickly. Either cease these announcements or just announce at the first time ever when someone new is entering;
-Apparently the "Location" you put in your profile turns into a link that goes to Google Maps (mine was "Right behind you", lol). I think it's a good idea to take that connection away as probably no one is going to use this feature THAT seriously. So keep the "Location" feature but without leading anywhere;
-A feature I miss was to show the entirety of your Profile Banner when you clicked on it. The previous website had it and it was nice to see the whole image;
-I noticed the "Gender" feature being taken away. Whilst I personally think it's rather funny to not have it (and I think the "Title" system is much much better), there may be people who'll actually made a fair use of it and will miss it. While not being completely necessary, going for both "gender" and "title" might be the best option;
-There isn't a shortcut button that leads to "Your Profile" when you click at the button of your account at the right-side of that green bar with the Moriya logo. From my perspective, I'd need to double-click the "Crab" button which has my profile picture and then click on "Your Profile" to see how my profile is currently looking like. In short, I think a shortcut that directly leads to your profile is a good idea (I hope I made that clear, because at the moment I can't think of better ways of explaining it).

This is done. I used the original heart one but if you have a different one, i can make it work. Just needs to be 32x32.

What do you mean? Which emojis are you referring to? The reactions are there but if you mean the "smilies" I will need to re-add them.

The oversize is fixed. And if you have more to add, send them my way.

Not sure about this one. I guess i could remove the geolocation part.

This will require some backend modification but i think i can make it work. Give me some time on that.

If you are speaking of the gender in user profile, yes, title was meant to replace it.

if you click on your profile in the top bar and then click on your username you do go to your profile directly so the last one might not be needed imo

I meant the "smilies" yes. I'd ask for re-adding the Touhou ones that are very used at Moriya Discord Server (like TenshiSad, MeilingThumbsUp, and others). I'll select some and make a little list of the ones I think that are good to have (unfortunately I do not have the files themselves but if I find some good ones outside the Discord Server there I'll send them).
This also applies to the Reaction ones. I'll send it in another reply later here (I'm a bit short on time as I write this).

This could be either discussed with the staff, and/or have a public poll made about it. Or maybe it can ignored since it's not that big of a deal. I personally still stand with my opinion here, but if others might disagree I'll just shush and return to the lake

Oh! That's actually very good to know. Now people can do better jokes if they want, and if someone feel like they must tell their gender they can use this space to do so. Win-win.

I had no idea, lol. Being fair, things are new we are still getting used to it, but I think it's more intuitive if another button is added. Not exactly needed, as you said, but I still think it would be a bit better. Maybe I'm being stubborn here, heh.


As for the other replies, many thanks for making these changes! I'll take some time later to see which emojies/smilies would be good here (or in another topic that would be exclusive to emoji suggestions), and if there is something else I think could be improved/changed I'll warn right away.
