I am a Touhou fan from China who researches Touhou fan and doujin community culture across various countries. Since going silent in 2023, I am now planning to resume and complete my research article on the Venezuelan Touhou community as part of my "World, Touhou" series. With the help of today's powerful AI capabilities, all my upcoming articles will also have an additional English edition released.
More than half of the investigation regarding Venezuela is already complete, and the Touhou-related material has mostly been gathered. What might still be missing is some insight gathered through direct communication and dialogue with current local Venezuelan Touhou fans. The primary task right now is researching Venezuela’s social, economic, and political context, so that I can reasonably explain the changes that occurred within the local Touhou community amidst these turbulent national and societal shifts. Of course, to ensure the Chinese version can be published smoothly, certain points will be expressed in an implicit manner.
