I've been busy figuring out where the hell I'm putting all of my vanity, as well as plotting proper payback for a grudge I was unable to retribute in a way I found just. Before that I wrote at least 10 A4 pages worth of non-Touhou story, read about 400 pages in 1 and a half days, and just generally enjoyed life.
Now that I have fried my brain with hedonism and assuming I won't drown in work again (not that I have much hope, but the chance exists) I believe it's time to start coming here again. Though I may have fried it a bit too much, It's not responding as fast as I'd like it to~.

Didn't forget this week, just still overwhelmed. Work has dropped to Japanese salaryman mode, though daily overtime is still the standard. Hoping things will be back to normal by week's end.
Good to see people still like to become sick around the beginning of spring like it is tradition to go through the tribulations of a sickness for the gifts of Easter, or they're just dumb enough to believe they'd be safe from the cold because it is spring. Either way, I hope they learned the lesson whatever god is responsible for that wanted to teach them.

Hello, I'm back as promised, now with extra time to gather my thoughts and greet everyone properly. Well, maybe I should start with my side of things, I did mention someone tried to hack me right? Yeah, they even tried it while I was unprepared, a full-fledged coward move, like taking cheapshots when your opponent is distracted... but I digress, to give you friends some context, I normally have two emails, one that I use for leisure and the other for professional matters, the email that was under momentarily danger was the one I use for leisure. Luckily I keep two-step verification turned on for almost everything, considering I use this email for things like Steam or Epic Games, the keyword being "almost", mind you, I didn't have my two-step verification on my Discord, which I suspect is the source of my problems, for some unholy reason I may have forgotten to turn it on after disabling it a while ago.
Things like this make mean world syndrome a thing, as well as destroying people's faith in humanity to do any good. If I see that person I'm personally dragging the person to the local precinct, along with the evidence. At least there they should be more lenient than I will ever be...
Where I'm going with this? Well, now the usual email that I use for Discord has been changed to "
[email protected]", funny right? I can't find a way to change it no matter what but I have the password secured and my phone number set as a security measure, this fella ain't getting inside my discord ever again, even if I have to deal with this ugly email now. In other words, we have reached an impasse, this unhappy person, for lack of better words, has completely failed in their mission to take something important from me, but they still left me a small parting gift.
COWARD, why don't you try to come to me while I'm ready? I challenge you "Desaitasyx", I'm ready at any time, just say the word with the day and time you want to meet me and you'll see who laughs better, anyway, I used that email here too in the shrine, since I come here for fun and all, that's why I had to go dark for a while and watch the dust settle, you never know when someone might try something funny again, this happened a bit before the big migration so when I eventually returned, everything was gone.
Also, yes, I took the time to catch up on what happened in this place, still a bit lost, but it seems we had to migrate to Xenforo. I'll be honest, I liked the previous layout better, but beggars can't be choosers I guess, imagine my surprise when I came back from my not-so-honorable battle only to find a wasteland where the previous shrine was? Just kidding, I was a bit down for a while, but my busy schedule made me forget about it soon enough lol.
I'll ask someone more knowledgeable about cyberwarfare than me if one would want to look into it, with perhaps a small monetary incentive if it wasn't a straight no. I won't be paying a lot, mind you, but there is no harm in asking.

I must apologize because I left you hanging on the past weekend, you see, I had to catch up with some things, mostly the story too because I had forgotten some key aspects that might be very important during decision-making. However, I was under the assumption that we had many more updates since I left and thus refrained from voting on my own volition. Speaking about that, I must say that I'm quite disappointed in you here, I mean, how could you fall for such an obvious trap? Outsider, while seemingly the easiest option and the most interesting one is in fact a trap to steal your attention from the true star of this show. The Western dress lady! Think Ally! Where a native would find a western dress without having contact with the outside beforehand? Plus, since we are looking for humans means this obvious outsider lady must not be a youkai, and last but not least! She holds a notebook, what kind of people walk around with notebooks in Gensokyo out of all places? If it's not obvious now, I suspect this lady may be none other than Maribel Hearn! However, I'm not sure if her outfit counts as Western though, but her character seems western enough just from the name, I'm surely not letting this opportunity go.
And I think I'm the busy one, to be honest, you really should consider taking a vacation sometime Yume, really.

This is based slightly more in reality than Maribel Hearn showing up in Gensokyo, because everyone is still where they're 'supposed' to be. Cirno is based near the Lake, Rinnosuke and Nazrin both still prowl Muenzuka and the Road of Reconsideration, Kamishirasawa is still a teacher at a school. Assuming past present and future still function normally enough, Hearn has no basis to exist yet.
We'll find out soon enough, but I hope to have swayed you before that. >.~
Aah, I swear, the layout changes a bit every time I return. Pretty sure there wasn't a title showing for each sub-forum on the forums page, I had to enter my own profile and click in one of my old replies so I could find this thread again... "Patience you must have, my young padawan" as Master Gri would have said [probably].
Anyway, seems like things are slowing down, which is not a problem, at least Yume can catch a breath (I hope), also just passing by to greet the locals and let you all know that I'm okay and lurking around from time to time. Almost joining the Discord group, mostly because of that time I completely missed the memo and was left out of the migration process, still a bit annoyed you guys left me out of the fun so quickly but it's also my fault for not paying attention.
I thought you got the memo, or had just taken a break from the Shrine, so sorry for that~. It wasn't my intention, at the very least.

Hello there, have we met before? Sorry if we had, I probably should have remembered someone with such a cool name. I'm Motaromc and welcome to probably the only active story here, at least I think, been a while since I last saw Nyoko but I digress! What I wanted to say is:
Don't be scared to fight for what you want! You mentioned wanting to see the sword guy no? Go for it! You still have a chance, you see, whenever we disagree about what to do, our impressive author always finds a way to act as a tiebreaker without being unfair to us. Normally a coin toss but since it would be a 4-way tie then a coin toss would not be enough, still I have faith that Yume would find a funny way to fix this AND write it out for us.
Oh, but don't feel pressured about it though, I'm just saying that you don't need to fear making your choices because of a small bother like this. I actually think it would be way more interesting, plus, we all would have 25% to achieve our goals, wouldn't it be funnier this way? Like a friendly competition.

As I've shown earlier with 藻太郎mc, you both failed to grasp an obvious inclusion... or I hit my head on something, which is completely possible. As for the Mary-Merry question... メリー is my preferred spelling, and it sounds like it could be both Mary and Merry, hence the confusion. So I ask you, do you want メリー to forever be associated with Merry times or with all the Maries of the world?
