i think its the suits, they look so weird flat (especially asuka) and it constrains their necks really hard

could be. I cant really pinpoint why I don't like them to be honest, although I think rei is pretty alright.

i think its the faces. asuka and mari don't really look like fumos at all because of how weird their eyes look. rei, shinji, and kaworu look the most like a fumo here
