Well I started the topic so i'll say my favorite song first

Catastrophe in Bhava-Agra ~ Wonderful Heaven (Hinanawi Tenshi's Theme)

To me this music is a beautiful piece of music. I can't really describe the song but it's my favorite

My favourite would be Hartmann's Youkai Girl. 

Why?
- The way it portrays Koishi's character is insane.
- The title 'Hartmann's Youkai Girl' makes a reference to Eduard von Hartmann, the author of 'Philosophy of the Unconscious,' but it could also point out to Heinz Hartmann, since most of Koishi's spellcards refers to ego psychology.
- Hartmann's Youkai Girl could be played reversed and would still sound similar to the original.
- Koishi is one of my favourite Touhou characters out of all

I do not want to sound like "That Guy," and hopefully y'all know me well enough to know I don't mean it that way, but . . . I sometimes worry Akiyama doesn't get enough credit for his original compositions. Everybody knows Broken Moon, and there's a decent respect for Oriental Memory of Forgathering Dream and The Ground's Color is Yellow, but after that the general familiarity seems to dwindle. There's still pieces like Shinkirou Orchestra, Bell of the Antipodes, and Our Hisoutensoku (one of my personal favorites in the entire series). I was actually a bit disappointed when I heard 17.5 wouldn't be composed by him (though I do like what I've heard from it thus far).

Anyway, since I'm here, some of my favorite music made by ZUN:

Septette for the Dead Princess (somehow perfectly fits any genre)
Ghostly Band ~ Phantom Ensemble (specifically the Phantasmagoria of Flower View version)
Whereabouts of the Heart ~ Pure Furies (possibly the peak of ZUN)

And for the sake of better contextualizing the thread a bit better, some themes from outside of Touhou:

Obviously there are a LOT of great ZUN songs, so I'll just say my favorite boss theme, favorite stage theme, and then favorite non-game theme

Favorite boss theme: The Venerable Ancient Battlefield ~ Suwa Foughten Field. Absolutely incredible song, blew me away when I first heard it. Powerful, beautiful, and awe-inspiring

Favorite stage theme: Alice Maestra. LLS had a damn good soundtrack, but Alice Maestra is a gorgeous song and steals the show entirely. 

Favorite non-game track: Greenwich in the Sky. So fun, so iconic

And then probably my favorite underrated song: Now, Until The Moment You Die (or Now die, For The Debts You Have Accumulated). ZUN was making killer songs from the very beginning lol
