I've read most of the official Touhou manga at least once, though the one I've finished fully was Sangetsusei. Despite it being about drinking and such, I also love Suichouka (for similar reasons as Sangetsusei). Though I do need to continue my reading of it.Alright, I’ll check it out sometime soon. I never really read the Touhou spinoff mangas, the only one I’ve read was Forbidden Scrollerly, and I only read it because it had English physical copies so I can display it in my room with my aya Fumo. But yeah I’ll check it out soon
Yeah I think it’s a great mindset for others to have. Maybe not the exact same, but I think people should display their interests without caring for what others think. I’ll be honest, the fact that people hide their interests sort of makes me sad. But people are usually sheep and they’ll try fitting in with a crowd and hide their interests to seem normal. But you can’t really blame them either, I guess a social life is pretty important. Still a shame though.A really good mindset, I gotta say
I've read all touhou canon sources including zun emails, and the only thing I genuinely hate is foul detective satori manga. It's just so ass, and he's just trolling everyone with every chapterI've read most of the official Touhou manga at least once, though the one I've finished fully was Sangetsusei. Well, I value my family immensely, so I hide a lot of stuff from them to make sure I keep it that way. Though I did tell them about Touhou, I haven't shown them any of the "inappropriate" parts of Touhou from (which I already highly dislike anyways).Real, I honestly don’t really care what my parents think anymore, just somewhat, and don’t care at all what others think. If something makes me happy, I’m not gonna let someone else’s opinion determine my happiness.

That’s understandable. I value my family too, but I display what I like because I want them to know what type of person I am. Usually there aren’t any issues when it comes to that so I don’t care much about what they have to say, though they were pretty weirded out when I started showing off some Touhou stuff. Understandably so, in their eyes I went from a bland kid to someone who suddenly had Fumos and some girly looking mangas displayed, lmao.Well, I value my family immensely, so I hide a lot of stuff from them to make sure I keep it that way. I'm probably one of the least interested people in trying to "fit in", but because of various types of trauma I've had for people berating my beliefs, I hide most stuff from others nowadays to protect my own sanity (well, what's left of it, anyway).Yeah I think it’s a great mindset for others to have. You may give it a try, it's not like it'll kill you. But it feels so fan-servicing+the story is complete shit IMO+he's purposefully teasing the fans with Mimaback thingie in the THIRD time alreadyReally? I was about to start reading it soon, I heard it was good :<
And then while I’m explaining my dad starts taking notes on what R34 is. I mean what now?Me when my parents accidentally find touhou hentai so I gotta explain 'em what rule 34th is

I think Foul Detective Satori had a very great start and premise, but ZUN had just decided to drag it on a bit too far and did the all-too-often mistake of putting aside the protagonist.I've read all touhou canon sources including zun emails, and the only thing I genuinely hate is foul detective satori manga. Tell him it was called after nissan skyline r34And then while I’m explaining my dad starts taking notes on what R34 is. I mean what now?
That’s understandable, I used to try and fit in all the time because people would make fun of me and such, but after middle school I stopped caring because I realized I wouldn’t really know these people after school anyways. Not like it matters in the long run! Still, I get you though.I'm probably one of the least interested people in trying to "fit in", but because of various types of trauma I've had for people berating my beliefs, I hide most stuff from others nowadays to protect my own sanity (well, what's left of it, anyway).
My family wouldn't care about me liking a "girly" series like Touhou (I mean, hey, they already knew I liked Sofia the First as an example), but I just dislike the idea of them thinking I like "inappropriate" things. That’s understandable. Its whole idea was kinda idiotic.I think Foul Detective Satori had a very great start and premise, but ZUN had just decided to drag it on a bit too far and did the all-too-often mistake of putting aside the protagonist.

Oh well In that regard I totally get you lol. Wouldn’t want your parents to think you’re a downright goonerMy family wouldn't care about me liking a "girly" series like Touhou (I mean, hey, they already knew I liked Sofia the First as an example), but I just dislike the idea of them thinking I like "inappropriate" things.
Am I the only person I know online which life and mentality isn't absolutely fuckin' broken and shattered in piecesThat’s understandable, I used to try and fit in all the time because people would make fun of me and such, but after middle school I stopped caring because I realized I wouldn’t really know these people after school anyways.
