Does anyone of you have read Alien Nine?

[UltimaShojo]

It is basically about girls dealing with alien invasion in their school using the help of a frog-like aliens named Borg. It is an interesting and dark manga I've read on December 2024. If you haven't read it yet, it's available on MangaDex. If you have read it before, let me know what do you think of it.

reminds me of kiginobiru's art about aliens(?) with supernatural powers that would totally fold ordinary people and somehow everyone just treats it like its just part of daily life

definitely got way more disturbing as it went on with all the body horror but the one that really gets me is with the addition of the slow seamless transition into becoming an alien and changing as a person because of it. stuffs that alters behaviours like alzheimer's disease and lobotomy are stuffs that freaks me the F out for some reason. so by the end are the girls aliens that retained the appearance and some semblance of their host's humanity? or are they humans that just altered their physiology and psychology? at one point do we even consider them the same as everybody else?

i'd like to ponder more about it but ehhh... i'm too lazy to think
