Does Anyone Else Love The Background Choirs In Many Touhou Themes?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, then give Ancient Temple and Border of Life (Yuyuko's Final Spell Theme) a listen and then proceed to give a listen to some of the other themes (PoFV's title theme as an example) and hone in on the choir sounds.
Anyway, now to get into it a bit more.
I've always loved synthesized choirs for some reason. They feel so genuinely "mystical", and aside from the obvious of them being well... "synthesized", the choirs often feel like non-human voices singing them.
My love of synthesized choirs is also one of the reasons I love trance/electronic music so much.
But, in regards to Touhou's choirs, sometimes it feels like they're on a whole other level.
They most often have a form of "beauty" to them which for me really sets in the idea of Gensokyo's "paradise".
I mean, Ancient Temple and Border of Life (Final Spell Theme) are among my absolute favorite Touhou themes specifically because of their choirs. They set the idea of that "mysticism" so well, and when I take periodic walks around my neighborhood, whenever I listen to those sorts of themes (especially at night), then I feel a sense of mystic beauty rivalling even the feel of the same themes in the games.
I just wish I had the ability to listen to such themes in a deep forest alone. That would be like heaven itself for me...
Well, anyway, that last part was way off-track.
So of course, what do you guys think of Touhou background choirs (and synthesized choirs in general)?

Definitely, I love the overall mystical feeling of the series and hearing the music adding more to that is even better. One of my favorite tracks so far is also the other one from 7 which also features this choir: "The Fantastic Tales of Tono"

That one is also one of my favorite PCB tracks! Though that's also from a game where just about every theme is my favorite. lol

Lol I didn't notice this until I was doing the Touhou vote how many of the songs I like have the choir elements. Border of Life like you mention, Ancient Temple, Plain Asia, Voyage 1969, Lunatic Princess (which has some really weird choir-esque sounds). Sometimes they are more subtle and other times they are more obvious. Wow, 7 and 8 really like this element, huh?

Myself I think it is the novelty that appeals to me. There's a lot of potential for these instruments but they aren't used super often so much of it is unexplored for me. So it makes sense that I make note when I hear them used well when compared to more conventional instruments.

I adore Plain Asia, Voyage 1969, and Lunatic Princess. Least of all because of their choirs.
The Touhou games 6 through 9 truly also do remain in them having some of the best themes to me.
